From HGTV's "Nashville Flipped," this immaculately restored 1932 bungalow has hip decor, modern art and music show print collections. Conveniently located just minutes from Five Points and Downtown.
Welcome to my refuge from the road. I've carefully curated East Nashville Contemporary Classic with collections of modern art, music show prints, and family heirlooms that include my grandmother's Noguchi table, and a collection of black-and-white photographs of the first electric lights on Chicago's State Street, installed by my great-grandfather.
The house features hardwood floors, exposed brick, subway tile in the kitchen and master bath, and every creature comfort -- including a stereo system (with wireless capability) that allows guests to play music in every room right from their devices.
I do use an alarm system inside of the house and require that while you are away from the home the system be fully armed. Details are available in our house rules after booking. We also use 3 security cameras to monitor the doors but they only see what happens within the door's threshold and do not compromise guest privacy. Please feel free to inquire about screenshots.
Enjoy full access to the gourmet kitchen (gas range, Vitamix, stainless Frigidaire appliances, etc.), cozy dining area, living room equipped with a 1960s electric Wurlitzer, one of a kind furnishings and décor, laundry room with new LG appliances, wifi, flat screen television, Netflix and Hulu.
House presently offers one bedroom with real bed, two air mattresses, and a couch for sleeping accommodations. Guests are welcome to camp out on the floor if desired.

During your stay I will likely be out on the road, so the home will be completely private to you. In the event of an emergency or needing assistance there is a property manager available 24/7, and we will be happy to make any recommendations for local events and attractions or services to make your stay more enjoyable.
The fireplace is for aesthetic only - it is not operable!
Man, this guy has a lot of rules . . . but it's all just common sense stuff, we promise!
We value your safety!
It's a safe, neighborly neighborhood, but it's still the city. Please be sure to secure the home whenever leaving it unoccupied, and particularly upon checkout: lock all windows and doors (front, back, french); draw the blinds upstairs and down; and arm the security system. Leaving an unoccupied home without locking all doors or without arming the alarm may result in forfeiture of your security deposit. If you do forget the alarm, give us a call -- we can arm it for you, remotely, no charge!
We value your privacy!
For your peace of mind and ours, we have installed three security cameras, which record activity at the front and rear entrances, both interior and exterior. These cameras DO NOT RECORD AUDIO, but if they can see you, then the kids across the street can see you standing naked in the window, drinking your coffee. That said, if you're feeling camera shy, let us know during the booking process and we can discuss alternative arrangements. Disconnecting security cameras without written permission forfeits your hard-earned security deposit, so let's chat first, OK?
Also, we have quite a few heavy pieces of furniture, some of which have been damaged by guests who felt the need to redecorate. If you absolutely need something heavy moved, please contact our house manager. Moving any large pieces of furniture (including the coffee table, kitchen table, or large chests) will result in forfeiture of your security deposit. And we really want you to keep your security deposit, promise!
No smoking indoors, please, but you are welcome to enjoy your smokes on the patio. Our next door neighbor also owns a smoke shop in East Nashville.
No pets, please; we LOVE them, but many of our guests are allergic.
We are happy to accommodate early check in or late check out when possible, but we ask to know of these requests as soon as possible. Requests made less than 2 weeks out may be difficult to accommodate.
We're psyched to have you! Welcome!
