In season, swans, geese and ducks visit daily, sometimes, with their babies. Feel free to feed them. Some will let you hand feed; others prefer bread tossed into the water. We try to keep a loaf of bread available for them.
If you do smoke, please do it outdoors and pick up your used cigarette butts.

No parties, please. You are choosing our area for its peace and serenity. So did our neighbors.
We are an older couple who don't like to travel. We bought our cottage for our vacation getaway. We live 7 miles away, but when we enter the street, it feels as though we were in the Maine wilderness. We spent 3 years completely gutting and remodeling it by ourselves. Now that it is done, we are very proud of it and want to share it with others.
