A gorgeous Roman villa immersed in nature. Ideal for families looking to spend time in the city center with the possibility of having refreshing outdoor breaks after the urban visits.
The villa is located in a private park only 10 km away from the city center. A 20 min scooter or car ride to the city center's entrance in Piazza del Popolo. Buses to the center are right in front of the villa's gate.
There is a shared swimming pool, a large loft-style living room with fireplace and big windows overlooking the Roman countryside, a large living area, dining area for 10 people, two double bedrooms with king size beds overlooking the garden, a walk-in closet, a large bathroom with tub, and another bathroom with shower. The third bedroom is a children's room which is available to those traveling with small children. Parking, table for outdoor eating, BBQ, and a sun deck with pillows for tanning. Fully equipped open kitchen. This accommodation is near the center of Rome but immersed in a beautiful Etruscan landscape that resembles Tuscany. Wi-fi, cable TV. The house belongs to two screenwriters so you will find plenty of reading and film viewing material. The place is unique because you can enjoy nearby Etruscan and Roman ruins, you have access to hikes, and rural landscapes, but are also incredibly close to the city. We have ad entailed list of possible day trips you can take from here to lakes, waterfalls, and old towns in Lazio. The country-style fireplace, garden, and large living room make it an ideal setting to spend Christmas in Rome: away from the bustle, but close to the city. An ideal place to rest up and relax after sight seeing.

Primarily you are expected to enjoy your stay, which is the most important thing. You may use sofas as sleeping arrangements if you need to add more people, but you must declare all extra guests. Help yourselves to anything you find in the kitchen or cabinet. Be punctual with your check-in and check-out time. Our pets (cats and dogs) will not be in the house when you rent it, but if you have kids who like feeding/playing with cats etc, we can make sure they come around. They are very sweet kittens. Please lock the house when you leave. Consult us for a list of neighborhood restaurants.
I am a screen and fiction writer living in Rome. My partner Luca is also a screenwriter. We work together and live together. We have a newborn baby, two cats, and a dog. We travel to NY a lot and are frequent air bnb users. We love hosting and cooking Italian food for our guests!
