Thank you Kate for your feedback, we truly value all of our guests feedback and take it very seriously. We are currently in the process of making some changes including upgrading the mattress & bed in the bedroom as we have noticed it is not as comfortable as it once was. There is an outlet directly outside the washroom door with an extension for you to bring it into the washroom, we do apologize if you missed this and will do our best to make this clearer for future guests. When you put in your request we mentioned to you that we were struggling with logistics and had to confirm availability due to a guests leaving just prior to you arriving. However since you had mentioned you were here to visit your parents and this was the ideal location we decided to do our best to accommodate you and your boyfriend. This was the reason for the delay in check-in time. When your boyfriend arrived at 11am he was welcomed into our parents home until the unit was ready at 12pm. However in hindsight perhaps it would've been better if we had advised you that check-in would not be possible until our regular check-in time of 1pm, as I mentioned we do our best to accommodate our guests requests. The unit is listed as a shared space, however you do have a private basement apartment. As is often the case with Airbnb spaces or hotel rooms they are regularly accessed by caretakers for maintenance. We do apologize again if this was not made clear from the get go but will ensure it is included in the details of the listing and clearly mentioned when the space is requested. We wish you had communicated the noise disturbance and/or any of the other concerns during your stay as we would've done our best to correct it immediately. Again our sincerest apologies for any issues that you experienced during your stay.
