De Vlamynckpoort is located on the first and second floor of a renovated 16th century Bruges mansion. The apartment can be rented with 2 , 3 or 4 bedrooms (2 up to 9P) . It has an amazing roofterrace, free WIFI, a well equiped kitchen, and above all... all you need to have a great stay.
VERY IMPORTANT: please check 'Guest Access' where you will find our booking instructions. This is very important in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
On the upper floor, there is a penthouse in loft style, from where you can enjoy a unique view over part of Bruges city centre, with its numerous historical buildings, towers, treetops, etc. The penthouse consists of:
An open kitchen with dining area (equipped with ceramic hob, microwave, conventional oven + grill, espresso machine, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, etc.); all kitchen utensils are provided, you don’t need to bring anything with you;
A pleasant bar adjacent to the open kitchen, with a delightful roof garden overlooking the rooftops of Bruges;
This romantic garden has a landscaped ‘green’ roof, a spacious roof terrace and a surround planting of clematis and ivy. There is also a good selection of terrace furniture (in nice weather you can have breakfast under a bright morning son) and… plenty of privacy;
A sitting area with a large LED-TV (with an extensive range of digital channels available)
Unique atmospheric lighting in the loft part and on the terrace;
A selection of basic ingredients will be awaiting you free of charge on your arrival, such as coffee and tea, pepper and salt, oil and vinegar, washing products, bin bags, dishcloths and kitchen linen, etc.
On the first floor, the following facilities are available:
3 bedrooms, both with a double bed with boxspring (Queensize). Two of them offer a view over a beautifully landscaped English-style garden and have all necessary comfort (large Louvre-style cupboards, a safe, suitcase stand, reading corner, sun blinds, etc.);the third room is facing the streetside
2 separate bathrooms with bathroom unit, mirror cabinet, design radiator and walk-in shower (rain shower);
Our fourth room is a suite: this bedroom is also facing the street, and will be connected to the apartment ,with a double bed with boxspring, Smart TV (with an extensive range of digital channels available), a safe, sun blinds, suitcase stand, coffee and tea-making facilities, reading corner, etc; the separate bathroom has a bathroom unit, mirror cabinet, design radiator ,walk-in shower (rain shower) and extra toilet

Important: if you rent the apartment, you 'll have the whole place for you exclusively !
Laundry room with washing machine and dryer;
Our rooms are equipped with all necessary linen (bed linen, duvets, bath linen) and a hotel package with shower gel, shampoo and body lotion.
The apartment has been fully renovated and is fitted throughout with wooden block flooring in oak. It is equipped with all necessary technical facilities and amenities to make your stay as comfortable and as pleasant as possible (double glazing, insulation, domotics, sun blinds, central heating, ventilation in the bathrooms and toilets, fire safety and protection systems, secure access, etc. Our accommodation has been checked by and meets the quality standards of the Flemish Government. We are holders of all relevant permits and permissions.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
There is access to an enclosed and secure garage if needed( at the cost of 25€ for two days).
Pets are not allowed.
We will be happy to guide and advise you during your visit to Bruges.
How should you make your reservation ? You can rent the apartment with 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms or 4 bedrooms. The two extra bedrooms can be connected to the apartment.
- if you want 2 bedrooms (4-5P) and 2 bathrooms : make your booking for 4 or 5 P
- 3 bedrooms (6-7P): make your booking for 6P
-3 bedrooms + suite (8-9P): make your booking for 8P. You'll have 3 bathrooms and 3 toilets at your disposal.
It doesn't matter how many rooms you rent, you will always have access to the loft exclusively; so nothing has to be shared.

Dear guest, thank you for choosing us for your stay in Bruges!
May we kindly ask you to keep in mind some general guidelines:
There may be other guests in the building, please make no noise in the lobby area, especially late in the evening or early in the morning.
Smoking in the entire holiday accommodation is prohibited. Smoking is only allowed outside on the roof terrace where you can leave your ashes in the provided ashtray.
The roof terrace is available for use from 08:00 am to 10:30 pm. Any noise after 10:30 pm may disturb the neighbours as the terrace is situated next to a sleeping area.
The sliding window of the terrace must be closed after 10:30 pm, in order to avoid noise nuisance for the neighbours.
The sunscreens installed on the windows in the bedrooms should not be let down in case of heavy wind. They could be damaged.
The entrance code you received at check-in can be used to open the doors to your holiday accommodation and the front door at the main entrance. Please close this door every time you leave. We kindly ask you not to open or enter enclosed spaces other than those that are rented (e.g. the offices on the ground floor and the private home of the owners).
To ensure that the holiday accommodation is in pristine condition when each new tenant arrives we kindly request you to clear up the apartment and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition before your departure:
oDishes must be done and put back in their proper place. In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher at your disposition, detergent (tablets) is provided. Please do not put champagne glasses in the dishwasher.
oKitchen equipment (oven, cooking plate, coffee machine, fridge, …) is to be cleaned; cleaning agent, cloth and sponge are at your disposition.
oRubbish is sorted in the kitchen in 2 separate boxes, before you leave these should be emptied in the containers provided in the cellar. In the cellar you will also find separate containers for glass (empty bottles) and paper (newspapers, magazines, …).
For your comfort, we have a city guide of Bruges at your disposal, feel free to use it, but please don’t take it home with you.

Check out time is before 12PM ; should you want to stay in Bruges a bit longer without carrying your luggage, just tell us, you can leave your luggage in the lobby area or ask us to keep the parking garage a few more hours (don’t forget to return the key when you leave) .
Hi ! We started this guesthouse in april 2015. In daily life, I am running an accounting firm with my son Laurens,. My wife, Katrien, is working as a Sales Engineer at an American Company (Agilent).
