Enjoy a large bedroom in our restored 1904 Federation Home. Two comfortable single beds and exclusive use of your own bathroom. Wayville is a convenient, quiet and safe location, and a short walk from the Adelaide Central Markets and Showgrounds.
Your room has a high decorative ceiling and plenty of floor space. There is an old fireplace with a mantlepiece and multiple power points for charging electronics. Fast wifi is available.
You are welcome to tea and coffee, and to use the barbecue (please clean it afterwards) and outdoor eating area. There are basic cereals and toast available for breakfast (help yourself).
Up to two extra kids can be accommodated in comfortable swags for an additional $15 per night per person. Singles, families with children, couples (gay or straight), retirees are all welcome.
We do not allow smoking or drugs on the property. We have a young child and expect guests to behave appropriately and respectfully. Noise to be kept to a minimum after 10pm.
My wife Noelle and I are professionals and travelled frequently for work and pleasure before little one came along. When I am not at work, I enjoy outdoor geeky games. When Noelle is not at work, she enjoys being a mum working on home duties, organising little one's after school activities and trying different recipes for family signature dishes. If she is lucky to have more spare time, she escapes to her sewing room to complete over-due projects or indulge herself into a Chinese novel hoping to write one herself one-day.
