Haven Villa is perfect for a family or a group of friends wanting a peaceful break. Spacious living area with a large deck and it's own garden. Full kitchen and BBQ, with a choice of breakfast provisions included. Rates vary by day and season.
The Villa gives you beautiful views over farmland looking towards Coolangatta Mountain and there is abundant native birdlife and visiting wombats and echidnas may be seen. We have a small flock of Alpacas which we can take you to hand feed, and our free ranging chickens who may visit. Children are welcome to collect eggs under supervision but please don't chase the birds.
You are welcome to walk in the grounds and in the woodland area, being mindful of closing gates as we sometimes have cattle in the paddocks adjoining the bush.

We live in the main house on the property so we are around to greet guests and give out keys or to answer any questions that you may have. We are happy to let you have your privacy, but please feel welcome to ask about the local amenities.
The Villa's mezzanine has 2 single beds in it but as it must be accessed via the upper bedroom and across a small deck it is not suitable for sleeping children under 7 years old. If required our king beds in the other rooms can be split into 2 king singles.
We cannot take family pets because of possible issues with wildlife and the flock of chickens as the property does not have an enclosed yard or garden.
No smoking permitted within the accommodation or in the bushland areas. You may smoke on the deck but please use the ashtray provided and take care with butts and matches.
Please respect our other guests - no partying or loud music permitted.
Your personal guests may visit but are not permitted to stay overnight.
Please turn off lights, heating and aircon when you leave the accommodation for the day.
Please leave the accommodation reasonably clean and tidy at the end of your stay.
Wet towels should be left in the bathrooms and any excess rubbish put in the outside bins.
No pets are allowed because of cleaning issues and our abundant native wildlife, free range chooks and our alpacas.
Breakages, damage to furnishings and the need for excess cleaning will incur an extra charge.
Originally from the UK I now live in rural NSW with my Aussie husband Kym and we run a B&B on a beautiful 25 acre property near Berry.
I am also a shamanic practitioner and teacher and have spent some years as a costume designer back in Britain.
I love historical and fantasy novels and films and have a pretty eclectic taste in music.
Kym and I managed to get in a lot of travel when we lived in London and we liked to do it independently, booking places we found online or through recommendations, and finding little gems of places to visit was always a pleasure. I have done some back packing in South America, but these days I like a bit more comfort and some touches of luxury.
When we set up our B&B I wanted to give people the kind of experience I would like to find but still at a reasonable price. I'm a big fan of organic and home grown local food so we try to support local producers by stocking our breakfast baskets with their yummy goodies, and are working on our own veggie garden here, and have a little flock of free range chooks who give us wonderful eggs.
