Our home is a bright and comfortable two bedroom, third floor flat in a historic building just off the Royal Mile. Close to all the main tourist sights, festival venues and great shops, pubs and restaurants. Easy walk to the station, tram and airport bus. The flat is ideal for one or two couples or a family.
It sits in the middle of the 'Old Town' of Edinburgh, with the grand streets of the 'New Town' just a walk away.
If you have any questions or request please don't hesitate to get in touch!
The flat is home to my daughters, Alex and Hannah, who are both working away from home so they are happy to offer the flat for your use - but ask you to take good care of it for them!
The building has great high ceilings so the rooms have a nice proportion.
The front bedroom has open views to Calton Hill and you can see as far as the sea a few miles away. The back bedroom has quiet views over the garden of the story-telling centre and over the roofs of the historic buildings in this part of the 'Old Town'.
The flat is available for your sole use. There is a secure entry system into the building.
It is very important to us to maintain the privacy and amenity of our neighbours so we don't accept reservations from hen or stag groups and do not permit entertaining or parties or visitors to the flat other than the booked guests.
We really enjoy living here - we hope you will too!

I enjoy meeting and welcoming new guests to the flat, helping you settle in and having a chat about what to expect in Edinburgh and answer any questions you may have - including giving some history on the city.
We provide a booklet with information on how to operate the equipment in the flat, on recommended local sights, restaurants, theatres and local travel.
There are around 72 steps up to our third floor flat. I will be happy to assist you with luggage on the stairs!
Please do not smoke in the flat, in the stair or in the back garden.
It is important to know that smoking is not permitted by law in any public building in all parts of the UK, including Scotland.
We ask that you respect our neighbours by entering and using the flat quietly. Smoking is not permitted in the flat, in the stair or in the garden. For the benefit of our neighbours we cannot permit the flat to be used for stag or hen parties. We do not accept pets, sorry.
