I had from young a love for nature, finding solace and joy in the serenity and simplicity of the village "Kampung" life. Upon my retirement from the corporate world in the concrete jungle, I welcomed the opportunity to create Kampung Foxhill. It is a self-contained tropical paradise for families, friends and visitors.
The one principle in my life is integrity, and like a tree, it is deeply rooted in strong values and convictions to do the right things, to be sincere, producing good fruits in all aspects of life.
Each day I welcome the sounds of nature, the spread of plush greeneries and colourful flowers, and the laughter of children when they are around.
I still love books to modern tablets, and the library is full of interesting books; many are contributions from visitors. The Tree Top House was built to welcome the muse of creativity for song, writing and painting. One such painting hangs on the wall of Alfah House.
I had a fulfilling career in Human Resource & People Management, and it is so wonderful that at Foxhill, I am able to continue building lasting relationships with so many people from all walks of life and from different parts of the world. I feel truly blessed.
