Francoise's home was absolutely the most perfect place for me and my guests. The pictures do not do it justice. The garden was beautiful. We started our day there with breakfast, and ended our day there with wine and champagne. Having 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths was wonderful. We had 7 adults for 1 of the weeks, and it could not have worked any better. Having a kitchen was a plus, as we did eat in a few nights. The location was great....... the neighborhood was easy to navigate.....a bakery around the corner. the local grocery store, Monoprix , just up on the main cross street, and all sorts of small stores to purchase meats, cheeses and fresh fruits and veggies. There was a street market on the main street, on Sundays and Thursdays........ all sorts of fresh fruits, veggies, cheeses, meats, jams, honey, clothing were to be had. The Metro Station, Tolbiac, was just up the block, and you could get wherever you need to go . Francoise and her husband, Jean Paul, were the perfect hosts ! I had mentioned that I would be spending my Birthday in Paris, and Francoise had a beautiful flower arrangement and wonderful bottle of champagne waiting for me ! Not to mention the wine and goodies that they had for us, as we checked in. This was my "dream trip" to Paris....... my 6 weeks flew by much to quickly ! I've started saving for my next trip to Paris and I hope that Francoise's house will be available again. I truly felt like it was my home, while in Paris !
