I often make the place available when I am away on vacation, so longer term (from 5 days to a month) visits are preferable, which could perhaps result in lower daily rate, depending on time of year. I'm also willing to work with shorter stays if I can string a few together.
I'll likely be out-of-town on your arrival, so in case you have an issue at that point, there will be a local contact or you can ask me via email.
House rules: If something breaks and you need it for your stay, you can purchase the item, keep the receipt and I will reimburse. However, if an item is broken by the guest, and is not need for the stay, I ask that the guest try to replace this item or at least inform me if it is not replaceable.
My office on the right at the end of the hall is locked, and not a part of the rental of the house.
Garbage day is Tuesday, so you can stuff the kitchen bag in the gray can on the street, and recycleables can go into the big blue bin at any time during your stay. For short term they are placed in a milk crate just outside the kitchen on the deck.
Compostable matter can go into the compost bin below the sink, which can be emptied into the Compost turner outside.
With respect for leaving the place in decent shape. Regarding pets, if your animal sheds, please make an effort to remove as many of the hairs as you can before you leave. Please try to keep animal off the bed if you can.
