"Like going back 200 yrs", We invite you to join us for an exciting and enjoyable experience living in the Medina. Bring your walking shoes, appetite; be free, spontaneous, and unscheduled as you wander around the windy back streets of the Medina. Our price is all-inclusive and includes: A delicious, hearty breakfast prepared using local produce and catered to your individual preference.

Welcome! Our aim is for you to have an enjoyable time, feeling comfortable and safe while experiencing a new culture - ultimately we want you to have the most complete Moroccan experience and adventure.

Our space is a multi-generational home, that has an abundance of light flowing through the colored windows located in the atrium, which is the heart of the house. The bottom floor has a secluded salon, shared wet-bathroom and two opposing rooms; because of the structure and design of the house, you will often feel like the only ones occupying it.

The house is conveniently located near an open market and street food - a "foodie" heaven. You can easily take a walk and enjoy some street food, or if you are sticking around longer, make your own unique dishes in our kitchen.

Our price is all-inclusive and includes: A delicious, hearty breakfast prepared using local produce and catered to your individual preference and a clean, comfortable bed in a spacious and airy room. Toiletries and towel are also available.

The space is suitable for "couples" or solo travelers who are looking to indulge while visiting Rabat.

We can also provide a pickup service from the Rabat or Casablanca airport for a small fee and help you arrange a variety of tours or assist you with any of your short-term needs.

If you have any further questions, please let me know!

If you want to enjoy your stay in Rabat, think twice. If i have to do it again, i will never stay at Caroline place.

This reservation was originally made for the "Istanbul Room in the Old Medina" - not any other listing. Mr. AbdulRasheed stayed with us for a week (starting Sunday) during a significant Muslim holiday in Morocco - Eid ( services were closed). We met at the train because he did not look at the directions provided which is a violation of house rules. At this time, he stated that he received a referral from a previous guest ( which was confirmed not true from the previous guest ). Mr. AbdulRasheed booked the wrong room, which was changed for him the day of arrival to provide greater comfort for him and his male traveling partner. The guest unnecessarily complained about the weather for the duration of his stay - the first day was around 85 and then the temperature dropped into the lower 70's and in the evenings 60's. The house keeper provided the guest with multiple fans which he demanded. He continually claimed to be extremely uncomfortable, at some point, I asked why he didn't just book a place with air conditioning? or why he did not ask about the weather prior to his trip if this was such a big concern? The listing does NOT state that there is air-conditioning. This house is located 10 mins from the sea and has a moderate environment, additionally the weather conditions were almost exactly the same as where he was traveling from if not more temperate. Additionally, unfortunately the internet was not working - which was not something in our control. The Medina is undergoing construction work by UNESCO and because it was a Muslim holiday , technical support was also on holiday. Mr. AbdulRasheed cunningly asked if, "Is it okay if i check out on September 6th? Instead of September 5th? And, since the internet wasn't working, can i have this additional day as a complimentary?"...Given all the complaining about the weather and internet, I was shocked to see that a guest who claimed to be so miserable would even consider extending??? I declined his request and would not recommend him unless you have a high tolerance nonsense or deception.

Small and cozy place in the center of Rabat. The host and the housekeeper are beyond nice. If you don't mind having cats around, 5/5* place :)

El desayuno era buenísimo, el resto muy normal, NO HABIA WIFI, había tres gatos en la casa, nosotros estuvimos agusto, pero la relación calidad- precio no es ajustada. El precio debía haber sido la mitad de barato.

The listing says that there are cats? Sorry about the wifi. As you know, The Medina is a UNESCO world Heritage site and currently undergoing renovation. The DSL has been cut from the street - which has affected about 30 residences and is out of our control.

A very nice place, especially since the host Baki is such a nice guy and made us feel welcome! Also, the breakfast is great, different every day and always prepared with a lot of care! We enjoyed staying in the medina of Rabat, which feels very authentic, and at the same time Baki's place was a good place to find calm after exploring the busy market streets ...

The house is located in the heart of the Medina, can be a little bit tricky to get to, but if you follow the directions to the letter you should be just fine, I didn't get the chance to meet the host in person based on her busy schedule, but the guy who was taking care of the homestay is just as nice! Although the communication was a bit hard since he speaks only a tiny bit english, other than that it was a good stay.

I believe, "neighborhoods" are the epitome of DIVERSITY with their history, architecture, and food -the melting pot of colors, flavors and people. Come visit and share this unique experience with us.
