It gives us pleasure to offer all of our guests a special and spacious apartment in a very upscale and safe neighborhood. It's fun to meet travelers and offer hints and suggestions about how to live and love New York like a New Yorker. We've had many lovely guests stay here and a lot of them return and refer their friends. Occasionally we get guests who are not a good match and are not respectful of the custom furnishings and our hospitality.
Chintan and his 5 guests were a disappointment. He said they were too busy to read the ad or the requirements. We had a neighbor complain about their noise at night. When 4 of their group forgot to take their keys with them and their 2 friends in their apartment wouldn't get up to let them back in they rang the bell in my apartment at 4:15 AM. They exhibited an entitled attitude about waking up my family and bringing an additional unregistered guest who was aggressive and intimidating to me. I was uncomfortable having him on the property.
They left a large slit in a custom window seat cushion, broke decorative tile on a heat unit, pulled draperies from the rod, left marks from liquids on the furniture, broke a tile cover, left numerous marks on the walls and left an overall mess that we had to call in additional housekeeping help. We had 7 large bags of trash and numerous alcohol bottles from their 3-night stay. We had to have the walls washed and one of the rugs shampooed. They are better suited to a hotel with 24 hour security and concierge.
