Sorry about the misterybwith the keys again. As I mentioned Alec was waiting with the keys for you and possibly because of the snow and the bad weather, or I don’t know what, you didn’t want to wait for him to answer the door. There is also a public hallway inside the building where you could have waited in the warmth. Strangely you then changed the reservation for only two weeks instead of the original four weeks, I guess you had other plans and cancel the booking, leaving me with an empty flat for two weeks and a great loss of money. I hope you understand that I arranged my life, travelled away to give you my flat and I lost a lot of money And got into a lot of trouble with no cancellation fee or a refund. Maybe if you had waited 5-10mins for my neighbour to open the door this would have not happened. Anyways, he was there and I am still not sure why you couldn’t get the keys.
I asked to cover the sofá mainly because you were a party with a baby and a toddler and the sofa is black velvet and can get damaged if kids jump on it or spill liquids. I simply mention it just in case but you assure me that your kids were well trained, which was fine by me.
Hoover will probably only need empting. It is pretty new and has all the attachments in the airing cupboard so this sounds like it could have been fixed while you were there.
