A - JUNIOR SUITE "THONET" - 25 MQ.
Entrance, bedroom with double bed + single bed or cot, bathroom. It is on the 1st floor of Villa Liberty, 400 m from the historic center of Fano and from the railway station, 900 m from the sea.
This name was given since almost all the furniture in the room dates back to the early 1950’s. The suite can accommodate from one up to three people.
Landing (2.5 m²). Situated on the first floor, it can be accessed by going up two flights of stairs (20 marble steps) connecting the ground-floor hallway with the “night area”.
Bedroom (17 m²). The floor is made with hexagonal concrete tiles coloured in burgundy and grey in authentic “Liberty” style. Two wide windows facing East on the street and on the garden are provided with: external shutters; vertical, roll-down and black-out curtains; one-door interior frames with three settings and provided with double-glazing and excellent thermo-acoustic insulation; interior little curtains. There is also a chandelier and a wall light. Double bed with a wooden slat net, wool mattress with 750 individually-nestled springs, goose down pillows. The furnishings also include: two bedside tables, a 3-door wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a small table, two little velvet-coated armchairs. Facilities and equipment: heating through radiator, air conditioning, wall-mounted hairdryers, mini-fridge, 32-inch flat-screen TV set, radio alarm, Wi-Fi internet.
Bathroom (6 m²). Anti-slippery single-fired floor covering. Same window as in the bedroom (but with no black-out curtain) and “wall-mounted” bathroom fixture to enable a perfect cleanliness and hygiene. Washbasin and mirror, WC, bidet, shower box with a crystal semi-circular glass with 4 doors, 2 of which are sliding doors. Facilities and equipment: radiator, towel warmer, thermostatic mixer valve in the shower box, alarm bell, instant hot water production with a sensor which automatically switches on as the bathroom door opens.
In addition to junior suites, guests enjoy the following shared areas: a cozy breakfast area dedicated to Artusi, a Reception, a garden.

Villa Liberty is inhabited by the couple that owns it; with discretion and respect for privacy, they will assist guests throughout their stay.
The rates include: overnight, breakfast buffet, wi-fi throughout the building (optical fiber), complete bed linen (changed every 7 nights) and towels (changed every 3 days), daily cleaning, energy consumption , air conditioning, use of bicycles, tourist tax, transfer to/from the railway station of Fano (if required).
While there is no defined arrival time, our check-in usually takes place between 15:00 and 20:00. An early check-in (before 15:00) should be requested in advance. You may also incur an extra charge for it, unless the junior suite was not occupied the previous night and is therefore already clean. Another option would be to leave all or part of your luggage in a compartment dedicated for this purpose and come back to check in after 15:00. At the check-in, we will record the details of all our guests’ documents, collect the payment for the whole stay (cash, debit card, credit card), brief our guests on how the house works and give the keys to the Junior Suite, the house doors and the gates.
Guests travelling to Fano by bus or train can take advantage of our free “shuttle service” from and to Fano’s main train & bus station: you can request it when making your booking.
We usually check out our guests by the end of the last breakfast, so from 10:00. By that time, we would also expect our guests to clear the Junior Suite from all luggages and give all keys back.
There is no parking space available within the property, save for bicycles or motorcycles along the house driveway. However, our guests always find street parking available in front of the house gate, where no thefts or damages ever happened.
The buffet breakfast service takes place from 8:00 to 10:00. It would come in handy for us to know whether the Guest will come down for breakfast the night before, as food and drinks are freshly prepared.
Cleaning up the Junior Suites
The Junior Suites, as well as the whole house, are usually tidied up and thoroughly cleaned every day between 10:30 and 14:30. The Guests are kindly asked to ease this activity.
Food in the room
Upon request we would be happy to provide whatever tableware you may need to have some snacks or drinks. For obvious reasons, you would not be allowed to handle any food in the kitchen or use portable stoves or the like.
Entrances and Exits
There no curfews for our guests. After all, this is no boarding school! Our guests are given keys for the whole stay and can clock in and out whenever they want. We would just like to remark not to make too much noise, especially when coming back at night.
The Premise and its Guests
To much of our regret, we realize that Villa Liberty is not ideal for everyone. The house was built a century ago. Its basic structure was never remodelled ever since, so there are some accessibility limitations. No lift is available and the 20 steps connecting the ground floor and the first floor could make mobility difficult for infants, children or people with mobility issues.
Pets are not allowed in the premise.
Villa Liberty is a “smoke-free” property. Smokers among our guests are strongly requested to leave their habit outside.
In the Junior Suite our guests can find the “Book of Villa Liberty”. This is a bit of a “vademecum”, a handbook made to give you an overview on how our house works, as well as the “who-what-where-and-when” of our territory.

Sono insegnante di Italiano e Storia. Ho l'hobby della lettura (i 1300 volumi qui in Villa Liberty non fanno solo arredo. .) e della pittura; in particolare raccolgo alla foce del fiume Metauro qualche sasso piatto, levigato dall’ acqua, di forma appropriata e vi "incastono" volti, canneti al vento, scarpette. marine, calde cucine di campagna…Uso pennelli piccolissimi e tanta pazienza: è quasi un lavoro da miniaturista.. Ora ci sono due camere e due bagni liberi in questa villetta in cui abito con mio marito Giuseppe, ed insieme abbiamo deciso di “aprire la casa”. Io sono "Chef" e "Room Manager" di questa...potente organizzazione!! Giuseppe è responsabile del Marketing e dell'Amministrazione. Se si perdona l'immodestia, dirò che facciamo questo lavoro con grande passione ed altrettanta professionalità. Ciò deriva dalla nostra trascorsa esperienza di "Incoming Tour Operator" in cui si proponevano soggiorni in Ville e Casali in Italia a Clienti del Nord Europa. Precisione, puntualità, professionalità erano normale prassi, che ora "per default" applichiamo a questa nostra nuova mini-attività.
