1 bedroom with large closet in shared 1,600 square foot artist Williamsburg loft very close to the L train at Lorimer, the G at Union/Broadway, the J/M/Z along Broadway (which runs--fun fact--on the 6th Avenue line in Manhattan--20 mins to midtown) and the L at both Montrose or Graham. It's a few blocks out the front door to any of those trains. There is laundry in the building, not the loft, and there is access to an amazing communal roof deck during the warmer months.
Your space would be a 12' X 8' room with a large closet with lots of storage. The room was recently updated with all new sheetrock and paint. There is a window that looks out to the main room of the space, a large 22' ceilinged gallery/work space that we use for painting, building props, and living. There is a nice communal kitchen that we cook meals in often as a group (if you are a loner or don't like drop-by guests who come for dinner--we have cool art, film making, and fashion industry friends--this may not be for you). We are a very friendly international group (Italy, Mexico, the US, and Spain in our friend circle) and the vibe of the space is youthful and energetic. Federico Massa is a well know mural artist from, Milan Italy, he is also know in is art world as ienacruz. His Murals are all over Brooklyn, and he frequently gives tour of his Murals to his guests. He and his girlfriend Mila lives in the space tougher. Mila, she is a journalist for a well know Italian magazine and tv, based in NY call i-Italy. Another person, a magazine prop stylist, rents part of the space just for working. We are easy going and social, and we hope to find someone who can be a part of our circle (I realize that sounds goofy; we are just looking for someone who can seamlessly blend in and be a part of the group. We can appreciate a roommate who wants to keep their distance too). We are gay friendly and all that too. No pets, and smokers are fine, but only outside in the back yard (yes, there's a little alley backyard, though I shouldn't oversell it).
The loft is an old school art collective called Leonard Codex, and has been a gathering space and gallery space for Mexican artists since the early 90s, so if you are looking for a space where you can create, and be a part of gallery shows (Bushwick Open Studios, for instance) this might be great for you. We can show the space any time, day or night, so email us back and make an appointment. I know it's hard to find a place from pics and descriptions on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), but the room is worth looking at, and if you are not a smarmy frat dude, a Wall Street banker looking for a Williamsburg party pad, a serial killer, or a bad apple, please consider us.
Those interested in seeing the space should, call (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), to schedule an appointment. Ask for Federico.
Please include some info about yourself, in your query, and a telephone number where you can be reached.
You will have access to the entire Art Loft space

We are hard worker in Nyc always involve in new project.
Federico when is not building set for fashion or music video or again doing walls around the city is mostly working in his canvas or installation production at home and his studio mate too.
We spend a lot of time in the studio and we are always happy to have a chat and gives tour around the neighborhood to our guest showing them the best place to eat at a good price, and showing murals around Brooklyn.
This is unique opportunity to share a space with person that make their name in their field in NYC. Is a chance to get inspired from art, fashion an journalism.
Is more than just rent a room in NYC, is the beginning of a friend ship, is always been like that with all our roommate or short therm guest.
Respect for the place and the people who lives here is the most important think

Federico Massa, AKA Cruz, is a Brooklyn based artist from Italy, born in Milan in 1981. He graduated from the “Academy of Fine Arts of Brera”, in Milan in 2006.
During his first year at the Academy, Federico helped found The Bag Art Factory collective in Milan, of which he is still an active member.
Two years later, he enters in Biokip, a polyhedral group that make arts and electronic music, collaborating with installation, exhibition, and staging, mixed in musicals and artistic scenaries. Federico’s work has been presented in numerous exhibitions all over Europe, and has been published in catalogues as well as art books. He works in collaboration with well-known fashion brands.
In his last works, Federico presents his vision of his adopted city, New York, as a place of creation and inspiration. In these pieces, the artist pays homage not only to other artists but also to the city that inspires him on various levels.
