28 Piazza is a light, airy space - a converted net loft in the famous Back Road West area of beautiful St Ives which sleeps 4 comfortably. The house is part of the exclusive Piazza complex which includes private beach access Porthmeor surf beach.

The apartment is light, uncluttered and spacious with plenty of storage throughout. It has the unique benefits of having no attached neighbours above, below and to one side as well as a baby grand piano. The apartment was carefully updated in 2008 to provide for contemporary needs including free WiFi.
There are several steps leading to the front door. The two bedrooms are off the hall. Bedroom One has a 4ft 6ins double bed and a washbasin with a shaver point. Bedroom Two has 2x3ft bunk beds. Upstairs the lounge has a double sofa bed, allowing more sleeping options, with its bedlinen stored in the kitchen benches. There is a large screen TV with Freeview, which is suitable for using with most games consoles, a DVD player and CD/radio. The shower room has a large shower cubicle, washbasin with shaver point, WC, heated towel rail and airing cupboard containing the central heating boiler. The kitchen/dining room has an electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge and telephone (for incoming calls only).
Electricity and gas are included in the rental cost. Gas central heating means the apartment is warm and cosy all year round, which makes it a perfect place in which to enjoy Christmas (Christmas tree and decorations will be included if you wish) and New Year festivities (don’t forget your fancy dress!). Duvets, bedlinen, towels and kitchen tea towels are provided but we ask visitors to bring their own beach towels. There is no parking with the property but we can recommend different parking options in the town. Both bedrooms are on the lower floor with living rooms and bathroom upstairs.
The bathroom consists of toilet, handbasin and large shower, shaver socket over sink. The airing cupboard is situated in the bathroom and contain the central heating boiler and spare bedlinen. There is a heated towel rail.
There is a cupboard in the hall with a rail for coats and some beach equipment and beach toys. There is a child safety gate for the stairs, stored in the hall cupboard.
A double sofa bed in the lounge allows more flexibility of sleeping arrangements. Although we have listed the apartment as accommodation for a maximum of 4 there is in fact provision for up to 6. This is to provide for families that consist of more than two adults and two children.
As well as private access to Porthmeor Beach (apart from winter months), which allows you to return to the shower straight from the sea, the shared facilities also include a viewing platform of the beach from the roof of the flats, a coin-operated laundrette and recycling. There is a locally owned corner shop opposite the apartment that supplies a good range of groceries and newspapers. Other shops, banks, restaurants, pubs, beaches and the harbour are only a few minutes walk away.
Guests will have access to the whole property of 28 Piazza and the extra facilities that the Piazza complex boasts, such as: the private beach access (a key coded tunnel to the beach), a beach viewing platform, a laundry room.
The property has a baby grand piano which guests are welcome to use respectfully, a washing machine, iron, storage space, vacuum cleaner, television and DVD player, free WI-FI.
We have a safety stair gate, travel cot and highchair for families with very young children.

We encourage our guests to ask as many questions as they wish via airbnb during the booking process and the run-up to their visit. We welcome our guests when they arrive so as to show them around the (URL HIDDEN) is a private property located within the Piazza complex in St Ives. We are based in Truro (25 miles away) therefore you won't see us except when we meet and greet you upon arrival and welcome you to the property.
Furthermore, there are no neighbours above, below, or to the side of the property.
During peak season, which is the UK school holidays, we cannot usually accept any bookings less than 7 nights arriving Saturday and departing the following Saturday. Out of season, we will only accept bookings which are a minimum of 2 nights.
No smoking and no pets are allowed in the apartment. We don't charge a cleaning fee because we ask guests to leave the flat as they found it, clean and tidy. Visitors are asked to arrive at or after 3pm on the day of their arrival and to depart before 10am on the day of their departure unless previously agreed otherwise.
