The studio is in the attic on the 6th and last floor (no elevator) of a 17th century building where the private doctor of Louis XIV used to live.
The 17m2 studio can accommodate 2 people with all the modern comfort. It has a full size bed, a kitchenette with a little fridge where you can store fresh food from nearby market, 2 electric plates to cook your own meal, a toaster and an electric kettle, a microwave oven to reheat your take out from French gourmet deli to eat on the large table.

If you prefer music, no problem, just put your iPod/iPhone on the speaker dock and enjoy your playlist while your iPod is charging (need adapter for iPhone/iPod 5th generation and higher).
The studio is located on rue Saint-Honore in the 1st arrondissement, at 5 minutes walk from the Louvre museum, 10 minutes from the Palais Royal, the Beaubourg museum, the Pont-Neuf, Ile de la Cite, Notre-Dame cathedral, rue Montorgueil, 15 minutes from the Marais and Saint-Germain.
Lots of very nice restaurants and bars are within 1 minutes walk like the infamous Spring, the scenic Kong restaurant designed by Philippe Starck, or La Dame de Pic by renowned Chef Anne-Sophie Pic.
The nearby metro stations are Louvre-Rivoli which is on the very popular line 1, and Chatelet-Les Halles which is the central Parisian metro/RER hub with direct links to Paris CDG airport and/or TGV train station.
a) Since the studio is located under the building roof slopes, it may not be well suited for people taller than 6 feet.
b) As mentioned, don't forget there is NO elevator in this 17th century building.
c) There is NO air conditioning either, 2 fans are available as it can be warm during the summer time.
d) To keep privacy and security, there is a communal door on the 5th floor. This communal door is shared only with the tenant on the 5th floor.
