Kalk Bay is a beautiful and central place to base yourself whilst visiting Cape Town. You'll be accommodated in a luxury ocean facing apartment within an exclusive development with all modern amenities and conveniences you require for a great stay including a secure parking spot, pool and beauty spa.
From the large balcony of this fantastically appointed apartment you'll experience breath taking, uninterrupted views over the Atlantic Ocean, across the bay and to the distant mountains - it's beautiful at both sunrise and sunset (depending on the calmness of the weather). Also, on a clear full moon night you'll experience an amazing sight as the moon reflects on the water!
This luxurious apartment is located across the road from the historic fishing port of Kalk Bay and has a beautiful Cape Town mountain as its backdrop.
The apartment is in a renovated, low rise, colonial style block. It is unfortunately not suited to younger children (approx under 12).
It is modern and fully equipped with two bedrooms with queen size beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms (one has a bath and the other has a shower).
Please note that my standard rate is for 2 people to have the apartment to themselves. If your booking is for 3 or 4 people the extra charge is R200 per person per night. This will automatically be calculated when you enter your requirements into the Airbnb search criteria.
The apartment comes with a secure and dedicated car space if you hire a car, which is highly recommended.
The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge has cable TV.
Everything you may need is on your doorstep including some of the most beautiful sites in the Western Cape.
The apartment complex has a lovely pool/pool area, a cafe, small library and gym plus an exclusive beauty spa.
You will have access to the dining, lounge, kitchen and balcony areas as well as a parking. Access to the actual apartment is via a lift. The apartment is located in a secure gated development.

My interaction with you will vary depending on your needs. I will endeavour to meet you upon arrival however due to work commitments this might not always be possible. I will only be a call or email away if anything is required. I'm happy to give you a guidance on getting around, places to see and things to experience if you wish.
My apartment is part of a larger complex of exclusive apartments with a mix of permanent residents and holiday makers. I would appreciate if you could keep noise levels to a minimum and no parties in the apartment or complex please.
I can arrange for my long standing and reliable cleaner (Pretty) to come once a week upon your request. She will clean the apartment and do a couple of loads of laundry for you. Her rate is R200 for the day for apartment cleaning however if you want her to do your laundry you will need to leave her sufficient coins for the washer and dryer.
Please note that the washing machine and dryer are NOT in the apartment but are shared as part of this complex with easy access. They are coin operated machines (R20 per wash and R20 per dry - you will need 3 x R5, 2 x R2 and 1 x R1). I will leave you with R40 in coins to cover your first wash and dry if required.
You will need to pay my cleaner cash on the day she comes. This must be pre arranged with me when you make the booking.
Additionally, I'm in the restaurant business so I'm happy to offer you a 20% discount should you decide to come and have dinner. I'll provide you with the details and my website when you arrive.
This apartment is located in a quality development. I look after my home but it is suitable to be lived in so please enjoy but I ask that you respect my property, its facilities and furniture. It's a non smoking, non party house.

The apartment will feel like a spotless, spacious and well equipped holiday home with all you need. She will also be on standby for your arrival and if you need anything during the course of your stay.
