Our peaceful and impeccably clean 2 bedroom duplex with vintage furnishings and lots of sun and trees in the windows is a relaxing oasis from the busy city. It comfortably fits 4 adults 2 children and is located in beautiful Clinton Hill.
Entire house to yourselves: On the first floor is a living room with TV (roku: HBO, Netflix, Amazon), vintage couches, real furniture, a half bathroom, and the kitchen/dining room with a back door to the yard. Above the stairs is a big skylight. Upstairs has a hallway, a full bathroom with tub, and the bedrooms. Sunny front bedroom has a full bed. Peaceful back bedroom has a king bed. Each bedroom has three windows, and is approximately 18 feet by 10 feet. 2 queen air mattresses are also available for use, if requested in advance. The house is on a quiet, friendly block with reasonably easy parking if you have a car. Zipcar is a few blocks away. It is a one minute walk to the Bedford Nostrand G train station, B38 and B44. There is a citibike dock at the end of the block. It is easy to hail a metered cab at the corner, and, of course, the ubiquitous uber.
Basic cleaning service is provided every Monday ($25/hour, generall). Due to my severe allergies, the house is impeccably clean. If you also have allergies, you should know that a small dog lives here normally, but will not be on the premises during your stay and the house will be vacuumed, swept and mopped before you arrive.
Entire apartment, including yard.

Calm academic with a deep interest in natural food, wine and living, not preaching about it though. I have lived in Brooklyn my whole life and can provide suggestions for all sorts of places to go for visitors. When I travel, I always rent an apartment instead of a hotel room so I can cook for myself.
