Dear Gemma, thank a lot for your stay with us and you nice review. I fear you did not read our ad and you simply booke dwithout thinking.. our ROOM is described as a room and NOT as an apartment, so I recommend you to read beforre booking. I looke deverywhere searching for the broken lamps you talk about, but I am sorry, I did not find anything like this. Anyway, if you found difficult to turn on you bedside lamp, you could ask for help, and since we live just beside you, I would be happy to push the little switch on your behalf- I ADORE easy tasks like this!
I desperately looked in the room, searching for a table with a broken leg.. and I was disappointed not finding one. Any table with a broken leg would fall, and I sadly admitted that maybe our 3 legs table has left without say goodbye.
The room is exactly as described, and as pictures show- we feature old furniture and yes, an elegant context in a historical building, built by the baroque architect Filippo Juvarra. We do not have IKEA furniture, but if this is your style, I am sorry we could not satisfy your standard. The table in your room dates back to 1890, an it's a little charming piece we love- sorry if you did not.
About he noise.. we live in the city centre and it's a lively quarter- but unfortunately, nightlife does not keep on until 5 am (it would be very rock, and I would be the Queen fo the NIght!)- I also remind you that all our windows feature double glazings. We all slept quietly the same night you were here, and all my guests did the same- I guess you were a little disturbed by your little, lovely and lively dog, new to the place. We hear her bark with an amazing energy around midnight.. we did not complain, since your dog was a pleasant member of your family : )
In the end , in order not to stay 15 minutes awaiting in the street before your check in, I discretely suggest you to ring the bell at the door.. and I will open you! As you know I was upstairs awaiting for your arrival, and you simply forgot the name on the doorbell. Dear Gemma, I am sorry you did not enjoy you extremely short stay in Torino, but I fear it was due mainly to your attitude to this trip.. I wish you all the best.. give a stroke to your lovely dog- yes, SHE IS lovely! Cristina.
