I am available by phone or email, if not in person. I try to interact with my guests as much as they want and provide them advice on things to see and do. Again, . I moved to Milan because I love it and it is well connected, so ask away if you have any questions.
I provide maps to help guests get around. I often travel so I have someone helping me give the key to those arriving!
Please understand that this is not a hotel. You are largely independent when staying here, as I work a lot and I am away. I want to interact with you as much as you would like and provide suggestions and make your stay as comfortable as possible, but also do not expect things that I do not list having such as an elevator or a big bathroom. The bathroom is small, but new (new photos will be posted by June 15th). There is good water pressure in the shower and the hot water is plentiful. Use your search criteria wisely! I think this is an excellent place to stay, that is why I live here and I hope you feel the same if you decide to stay here!
If you checkin between 22:00-23:30 there is an extra 20 euro fee.
There is no check in after 23:30, unless arranged in advance and there will be a 30 euro fee, so please keep that in mind if you have a very late flight. The bar that helps me out with the key closes at 23:30, therefore I can only take reservations from people who arrive before then unless arranged before a booking is confirmed! Thank you for understanding.
Since this is my personal home and I am renting it out when I travel, I expect you to care for it as you would your own, or better yet, your grandmother's. No smoking in the house or parties, or guests that weren't mentioned in the booking. Please cleanup after yourselves. Of course I have it professionally cleaned, but at the sametime I don't expect my cleaner to pick trash left all over the apartment! Leave it like you would a friends house.
Note about late checkins: I can only accept reservations from guests who arrive prior to 22:00. Arrivals between 20:00-22:00 will be charged a late check in charge, 20 euros on arrival, no exceptions. This is an additional cost for me if I have someone have to give you the keys so late. I just want to be clear.
I am a teacher living in Milan. I am from the US, where I taught American history at a university, but recently I moved to Milan, to teach little kids. I hope to travel as much as possible, as so far I am off to a good start.
