Thonglor being a 'trendy neighborhood' make this place the perfect choice for short or long term stays in Bangkok with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, pubs & clubs, numerous massage shops make it the perfect neighbourhood choice with its 'bohemian chic atmosphere'.
Thonglor is considered an 'upper class' area with a good mix of local Thais and Expats. There are good combinations of Thai authentic places, Western as well as Japanese and Korean restaurants (as they are also living in this area) and cool shops, boutiques and cafes (J Avenue, Penny Balcony, etc.).

Available during daytime (from 9am to 5pm) at my adjacent office, you can come to knock at my door if you have any questions.
Since I moved from Seoul to Bangkok in 2010 and had discovered lots of great places (from touristic place mentioned in 'every guidebooks' to very local authentic secrets), I'll gladly share advices with you and even sometimes show you (if my social calendar is available).
There is a community board by the door entrance to which I can post sometimes any cool (art) or other events happening in Bangkok.
Also, as I use social apps like LINE / WHAT'S APP to keep in contact with guests and to "share location" (GPS map feature) . Feel free to message me prior to your arrival if you have any additional questions.
While staying at the house, you'll meet nice guests (and host), get good tips on what's happening in Bangkok during your stay.
If there is an art opening in town or a get-together at home, you are invited to join (if you like to). Just ask ;-)
As this will be your 'house' for few days, a week or longer, treat it as your own place with respect and clean behind yourself please. Use good common sense!
There is an additional vegetarian-only 'guest fridge' in the living room (+ additional fridge in the separate kitchen as well) for your usage during your stay.
Shared separate kitchen available with coffee or tea.
[Korean spices and olive oil/vinegars, condiments are NOT yours, please buy your own. Thanks]
Please clean your dishes and tidy up once you finish eating
TOILETS : do not throw ANYTHING in the toilet!
[It was clogged several times in the past and it was very inconvenient for everyone. We had to call the plumber which took 2-3 extra days!]

Welcome to the convivial house 'Baan LE FLUX' on Sukhumvit 40
Your host: Vincent Sung
Eclectic or 'eccentric', my background is as diverse as the places I lived since I was adopted from South Korea to Belgium.
Born in Busan and adopted when I was 3 years old by a Belgian / French family. I grew up in Belgium and was quickly exposed to different cultures as Brussels being 'a very cosmopolitan city' [as well as the center of Europe with multilingual communities]. Minimum three languages are spoken here.
Looking at big fashion capitals as an ambitious (fashion) photographer, I moved to Paris in 1994 and collaborated with top international model agencies for few years.
A life-changing visit to re-discover my roots in South Korea, back in 1995 for the first time, reconnected me to my origins.
A year later, I moved from Paris to Seoul and lived/worked there from 1996 to 2010 (*besides a 2 years 'break' during the Asian Financial crisis where I lived in New York City).
Since 2010, my globetrotter mindset and nomadic lifestyle, with a special affection for South East Asian countries, made me decided to relocate to Bangkok, Thailand – a platform of travel and a hub of tourism where multi-cultures meet and clash.
The charming and peaceful house is ready to welcome you, in the perfect location between Asoke, Thonglor, Phra Khanong / Ekkamai, where there is another burgeoning pocket of creative community with new galleries and cafes opening recently.
Since 2010, I share my time between Seoul and Bangkok; or travel often elsewhere around the world for photography assignments, lectures or special photography workshops.
I regularly teach Photo Workshops and updated details are posted on my website:
