Our sweet little cabin is nestled under the trees an easy walk from our private lake and a short drive from charming gold rush towns and Big Trees State Park. Perfect for small groups and families in all seasons!
Please bring your own sheets and towels. Duvets, pillows, and blankets are provided.
We do not charge a cleaning fee, so we require our guests to leave the cabin clean and tidy, with kitchen and bath surfaces wiped, floors vacuumed or mopped as needed, trash removed, and dishes clean and put away. Sometimes emptying the vacuum is required. Eco-conscious cleaning supplies are provided.
This is a no-shoes home; please remove your shoes at the door.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.
Pets are limited to dogs only and must be approved at the time of reservation. Dogs may not be left unattended at the cabin at any time unless crated with cabin windows closed to avoid damage and disruption of the peace. We have had complaints from the neighbors about barking dogs. Do not leave dogs alone on the deck.
The cabin does not have AC, as noted in the full description.
Refunds are not issued for weather or other conditions outside the control of the owner.
We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance. Owner is not responsible for cancellations due to guest illness, emergency, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. Owner may cancel at her discretion; all payments will be refunded if owner is required to cancel the reservation.
*It is understood and agreed that payment signifies that the House Rules have been read, fully understood, and accepted by both parties.
I'm a mom and an administrator at Stanford University, which leaves little room for down time! I enjoy reading, gardening, music, wine, and friends, not in that order. When I'm at the cabin, I love exploring the area and checking out the local wines. My awesome son likes going up to Bear Valley for the snow, swimming in the lake during the summer, and relaxing on the deck with a game of Spite and Malice (muahahaha).
