I´m sorry to hear you left so angry and unsatisfied with your overall experience not just with the villas staff but with the Islanders who generally are very happy and friendly people.

I´m quickly addressing every issue that you encountered:
Re- Maintenance: All your specific suggestions went into the weekly schedule of repairs and maintenance and where all resolved.
Re- Area Security: I was very confused when reading this point because since I started to rent the villa in 2015 plus more than 60 groups of guest´s, none of them had the slightest feeling of insecurity, all the contrary, most of the time they feel so secure that they leave all the gates and door´s open during the day and night.
The recommendations you received from the police, taxi drivers or islanders are the same recommendations you can receive in other tourist places such as Nassau in Bahamas, Punta Cana, Jamaica, and most of the Caribbean Islands.
I´m really sorry you had this perception of the area from their recommendation, Im sure you understand that it is standard security procedure with any property and place in the world.
Re- Area location: San Andres is a very small Island and center is where banks, big super markets and general commerce is located. ´
We consider the villa to have an extraordinary location as you can have a great marine experience (dive,swim, wind surf or scuba) at location and the house is closest to 2 of the best beaches than from center. Close enough from center to get by mule or taxi and far enough to feel the privacy and exclusivity most look for.
Villa – Center: Taxi 15-20 minutes | Golf Cart: 20-25 minutes Villa – Nearest Beach: Taxi 3 minutes Golf Cart 4 minutes
Re- Maid – I had a meeting individually which each maid to try and understand specifically what happened and my recommendations to the staff where very well received.
