It is a properly converted loft with high ceilings and plenty of windows with lovely views. The room has an en suite bathroom and a smail separate kitchen. Access is via the main front door and staircase but is relatively independent of the rest of the house. House rules are minimal but include: no indoor smoking, shoes off at the front door. Wifi throughout.
The town of Langogne is a 2 minute walk. It has a train station and a music festival at the beginning of August. There is a Saturday and Tuesday market and during the months of July and August the town is 'en fete'. The main attractions include a really pleasant summer climate which is hot but never unbearable on account of the mountain air (we are at 1000 metres altitude). Also the nearby lake of Naussac with plenty of water sports and the Stevenson trail.
Out of season the house is heated with central heating from a giant wood burner.
Absolutely no smoking in the house...this includes standing at an open window. Noise levels to be appropriate to a family house but music and activity within reason up to midnight will be tolerated. Shoes removed at front door.
Main meals can be provided 'en famille' at extra cost.
