Thank you for your kind comments, Daniel. But I have to disagree a little with a couple of things you say. Firstly, in the mornings the sun does stream in through the high windows, though of course as the sun moves around in the afternoon the room is not as light. Secondly, the apartment is in an enviable location for central Montpellier: there are no shops, bars or restaurants as you find on most streets in the historic centre, and there are no passing cars as they cannot exit the street at the bottom. It is true that motorbikes can pass through, but there are very few of those. Children, students… Well, yes occasionally, but the same is true for all of the historic centre.
