Situated in a quiet, historic Asheville neighborhood – Kenilworth - there is lots of natural light through windows that face the woods. Enter through your own private entrance and enjoy your own deck overlooking the lush woods for three seasons, or a partial mountain view when the leaves are down. It is very private giving you all the space you need.
Tall, mature trees face your entrance and apartment, giving the visual perspective of being in a tree house. You hear the sounds of Asheville in the woods, everything from the train toot, to the plentiful birds, to the foxes in the neighborhood.

We have a dog and two cats and while our AirBnB guests are in their own quarters, we have found it becomes too complicated to allow other pets. As such, we cannot accept reservations with pets.
Lynn is an Asheville artist, who has shown nationally and can guide you to some of the most interesting art related places in town (in addition to her own River Arts District studio). Lynn also gives 2-3 day individual (or multiple people) artist retreats at her studio. Special Retreat discount for people who are our AirBnB guests.
Jake is an ethics and compliance consultant. He is considered an accomplished chef by all who have dined at the house, and for stays of four or more nights, schedules permitting, it would give him pleasure to create a gourmet breakfast for you for one morning of your stay (included in the price).

This is a smoke/vape free property inside and out. Please do not burn anything, including candles in the house. This keeps us all safe in the trees!
This is also a quiet neighborhood. Drunkenness and excessive noise is disruptive to us and our neighbors and not appropriate for this house.
If we are not home when you arrive, there will be a key for you.
You will have your own access to the unit and should feel free to come and go as you please.
No parties or unregistered guests. No overnight guests.
If you need anything or have a request, please let us know. We live above the unit and not more than 10 stairs, a phone call or text message away. We really want your stay to be truly wonderful and happy, filled with great memories.
After the reservation is made we will send you pages of suggestions and links to restaurants and micro-breweries, our own off-the-grid, favorite places to eat that visitors don’t know about, places to hike, things to do and links to the outdoors.

Jake can recommend many places to eat based upon your tastes and budget. Each will be happy to give you lots of suggestions what to do, where to go, considering your interests.
