The location is perfectly situated in Montmartre- near the Metro 12 and the Moulin Rouge. The neighborhood is active with tourists and locals but not to a annoying or disruptive degree. The pictures are a pretty accurate representation of the place - a fold out bed upstairs big enough to sleep one person comfortably and a bed downstairs that fits 2 people also comfortably. The wifi works well and is fast enough for streaming. The apartment is stocked with many necessities both in the kitchen and bathroom - including a blow dryer, iron and ironing board, cutleries (spoons, forks, knives, plates, cups, pots/pans). There's is a tea pot and coffee pot along with a microwave and Fridge. There is a tv but we could not figure out how to use it. For me the best parts of my stay was the location and the thoughtful amenities - the shower needs some niggling to get hot water but it does work!
BEWARE OF MISREPRESENTATION. This place is NOTHING like the beautiful photo that seduced us into booking the place. The windows are covered in steel shutters that cannot open - so the place is dark and gross. It smells horrible - musty and dirty, the place was filthy, the furniture is tired and worn out - again, nothing like the photos. The host was over 45 minutes late and we refused to stay because we were so unhappy with the disgusting fraud of this listing. As a result we lost an entire day of our vacation and had to spend over $500 to get 2-rooms in a hotel while Airbnb looked for alternative accommodation for us. Our advice: DO NOT STAY HERE, everywhere else we have stayed with Airbnb has been great, but the people who listed this place have committed are dishonest and disrespectful.
What it is necessary to know c is that this apartment is noted very well and that David is l one of the only ones groups to be disappointed by this apartment. Either the set of our guests was wrong to give us a good note or it is David's comment which is erroneous ... Especially that to specify a delay of 45 minutes while Justin came to welcome you as soon as that he received the call it I think is dishonest and disrespectful
Good location. Very convenient to Sacre Ceur and Monmarte. The apartment was nice enough, 8 to 9 out of 10 on cleanliness, location and value. But check in could have gone a bit smoother. I definitely accept some of the blame, but there were some inconveniences. We originally planned for a late check in, but the morning of, we asked if we could bring our bags in at 2. We received a text message that we could drop our bags and get the key. When we arrived, we were able to drop our bags, and leave my mother-in-laws insulin in the fridge, but the apartment wasn't ready, so the host wouldn't give us the key. He wanted us to come back in 2 hours. We were tourists in the city of Paris for less than 48 hours, we didn't really want to interrupt our sightseeing to come all the way back out to Monmarte. Not to mention the expense and inconvenience of metro/taxi. We contacted them a couple hours later to see if the apartment was ready before we came back, and they said later would be better. We were okay with that, because we wanted to stay in Central Paris anyway. We set the time to meet at 10pm. We waited until 10:05, then sent a message. The host arrive 15 minutes later - while we waited outside in the dark. Also, my mother-in-laws insulin had been thrown away, although we told him 2x before we left it was there and to please not throw it out. After being awake for 36 hours, we waited another 45 minutes for him to track it down and finally find it in the dumpster. The hosts were nice enough, I just think there is a lack of communication between them.
