A private furnished guest suite on the main floor of this updated 1959 bungalow in Kelowna's Capri area will comfortably accommodate you and up to three additional adult travellers. You will be near shopping, a 24 hr gym, groceries, eateries and the winter seasonal Big White Express Bus.
The guest space includes:
- Living room with gas fireplace
- Kitchen with gas range and stove
- Den with desk and external keyboard and mouse, with laptop stand
- Dining room with four-person seating (expandable to six)
- Front yard patio
- Full bath with a tub & rainfall shower
- Two bedrooms, each with a queen size Sealy Posturepedic mattress
There is a TV in the living room with Chromecast, which allows you to stream audio and video content from your smart phone, tablet or laptop. The TV does not have cable service.
For guests with electric vehicles, there is a Tesla wall charger in the carport.
Families are welcome; however, the property is not baby or child proofed.
You will have private access to the main floor guest suite of the Bungalow. Guests are invited to use the front yard with patio, plus one parking stall in the carport.
Not included in the space is the basement level, where I reside.
The backyard is undeveloped for a future laneway house. We have not renovated the carport as it will be demolished and rebuilt as part of the lane-way house project.

The setup allows guests to be independent, including a 24-hour self-check in process. However, if you need anything during your stay, we are here to help. I have a team of local maintenance and housekeeping professionals to assist.

Quiet time is from 10:00 pm through 7:00 am (or 9:00 am on Sundays and statutory holidays). Please be mindful of our neighbours.
As a courtesy to future guests, please help us prevent lingering odours when cooking by always using the stove exhaust fan and avoiding strong spices. If you cook with oils and fats, we kindly ask that as part of your self-check out steps you soak the two exhaust fan vents in the sink with soap and warm water (we will clean and put the vents back).
Please do not operate the gas fireplace while sleeping or away from the house and do not run the air conditioner with one or more windows or doors open.
Guests are invited to smoke on the front patio. Please avoid smoking in the carport and back of the house as smoke will enter the building through the various exhaust vents.
Recognizing our Strict Cancellation Policy (refer to Airbnb's website for an overview), please consider travel insurance should you need to alter or cancel your reservation.
Illegal activity is grounds for immediate eviction, with forfeiture of all payments.

I'm Canadian. My professional background is commercial aviation marketing. I haven't travelled to many countries (Netherlands, Italy, Mexico, Costa Rica and U.S.), but I have explored most of Canada.
I'm pretty low key. I'm able to work remotely, so I mix travel with work. When I'm abroad, if I'm not out exploring I'll probably be working at my computer.
