Enjoy all the comforts of home in a picturesque three bedroom chalet. Enjoy the beautiful knotty-pine cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom. Watch the hummingbirds at the feeder, or the Loons on the lake. Swim, fish, hike, or explore the area between Parry Sound and Huntsville. Walking distance to the centre of McKellar with its beautiful library and convenient grocery store. (No smoking and no pets, no loud parties, and no bad language please. This is a quiet family friendly location.)
Canoe and paddles are supplied.
Wireless internet is available at the McKellar library.
We do not supply a phone. Our guests use their cell phones.
Water is pumped from the lake, so is not suitable for drinking.
There is not a beach. Swimming is done off the dock. So we don't recommend our cottage for very young children.
Entire cottage and a canoe.
No smoking and no pets. No loud parties, and no bad language please. This is a quiet family friendly location.
If you want peace and to rejuvenate - this is the place for you. If you are the partying type - we apologize, but this is not the place for you.

I'm a very introverted Business Coach. I like learning from people, but also need a lot of alone time to recharge. My greatest passion is spending time with my daughters, their families and especially my grandkids. I love travelling, but also love coming back home to my place and hibernating. My style of entertaining is to give my guests a tour of the kitchen, and encourage them to make themselves at home. My daughters gave me a take-out menu folder, and always comment about the available space in my fridge when they come to visit!
My idea of a fun time is taking my grandkids to Starbucks for yogurt. And please - don't keep me up till midnight on New Year's eve!
My 2 favorite places are: sitting on the deck of my cottage by the lake in Northern Ontario with a cup of coffee; or walking on the beach in Barbados - my birth home. Both are places of peace.
