Sat-Sat rentals only from June-September 3. 2 night minimum for remaining dates. This 920 sf cottage was built in 2019 and sits back on an acre lot, nestled into the beautiful tidal landscape. A large covered deck surrounds the Cottage on three sides. Close to Cape Lookout National Seashore and Beaufort, Sea Grace Cottage offers solitude and tranquility. Dogs okay with restrictions/pet fee. All linens, beach chairs and towels are included in the rental. Kayaks available for additional fee.

Sea Grace Cottage offers year-round rental opportunities, with central heating and cooling, spectrum TV streaming and wireless internet. Open floor plan with cathedral ceiling, the living room, and kitchen, along with the porch, will be the main gathering points while at Sea Grace Cottage. A breakfast bar separates the large U-shaped kitchen from the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, slow cooker and coffee pot (filters provided). The gas grill is located outside, below the house. The kitchen is equipped to meet most of your cooking and dining needs: just bring the food! A small laundry room houses the washer/dryer and the owner’s closet.

The Front bedroom (king bed, walk-in closet, and shared bathroom with tub/shower) and the Back bedroom (1 queen bed and 1 set of bunk beds, with walk-in closet and private bath w/walk-in shower) accommodate sleeping spaces for 6 people. Bunk beds are designed for small adults (under 150 pounds) and children. All bedding and linens are provided at no additional charge. A third shower is located outside the Cottage and is the best option to use after a day at the beach.

The property is located at the end of a quiet street, nestled in a quiet neighborhood with 5 other homes. There is no direct access to the water for swimming, but if you would like to put a kayak or canoe in from the Cottage, that can be arranged. Those wishing to use the kayaks provided must sign a Waiver and Release. Cape Lookout National Seashore, consisting of Shackelford, North and South Core Banks, is the premier destination for most people staying in this part of Carteret County. There are also numerous islands, bays, rivers, creeks, and marshes that are worth investigating for one reason or another. These areas are only accessible by boat. Check brochures in Cottage to learn about ferry service. Boating and Kayaking Guide Books/charts as well as information on boating, beaches, and attractions are located in the Cottage's information guide to the area.

I grew up in Morehead City, NC, and along with my 8 siblings, spent our summers as waitresses, cooks, babysitters, and lifeguards, catering to the tourist that flock to our shores in the summer. I am both a guest and a host for Airbnb.

We purchased Sea Grace Cottage in 2010 and enjoyed sharing our saltwater vacation home with travelers from all over the world for 8 years until flooding from Hurricane Florence required us to demolish the original structure. Prior to having to rebuild, we listed with another rental agency and acquired over 100 reviews that gave us an almost perfect 5/5 rating with many renters returning year after year. Because of the ever-increasing fees the other agency charged renters, we decided to list with Airbnb this time, and save our renters a few dollars.
