Beds are one queen bed in room with ensuite and one twin room with two single beds, two double sleeper couches in lounge. Apartment is on 2nd floor.
Swanlamer 12 from By The Beach offers awesome self catering accommodation, around 5 minutes walk from the centre of town, and approximately 300 metres from the beach, with a sea view from the balcony and master bedroom. There is a queen bedroom with an ensuite, and a twin bedroom with a separate bathroom next door, as well as a sleeper couch in the lounge. There is a double garage for two cars, and secure guest parking all with remote access.
In traditional Swakopmund style, there is a built in indoor Braai (barbecue/fireplace). We also provide great extras for guests such as filter coffee, condiments, ear buds, toiletries and handmade linen made by a community project, Iyaloo.
The apartment has a satellite TV in the lounge and master bedroom, a washing machine and dryer, dish washer, as well as all the usual kitchen appliances.
Please note some curtains and linen varies between photos due to updating them over time, and different sets.
My check-in manager and I pride ourselves on customer service, and we really enjoy having people tell us they loved staying at my place, especially while I can't (I'm abroad right now).

The apartment is accessed by a remote control gate to the building and garage. There is lift access to the second floor where you have key access to the apartment via the main door.
Note: The lift is not listed as part of the ammenities as it is sometimes under repair, we cannot guarantee it is working.
There is an alarm which also has remote activation.

I am sorry, I'm not living in Swakopmund, unfortunately, so I usually only have email or phone interaction with guests.
Our apartment is managed by Christine and her team at Nel's Estates, a family business with great attention to detail and good customer service, however guests can still contact me directly at any time they need to, I will try to help as much as I can.
Nel's offices are easy to find on the main street into town, and their friendly agents will help with the check-in and show you around the apartment.
We have a lift in the building, but, it is often under maintenance, and not always reliable, although it has been better this year.
Also, right now I only see my apartment every year or two, but Nel's keep me updated. I miss it a lot (hoping situation will change soon) and also hope you will enjoy it immensely while I cannot.
We do not have wi-fi but MTC has a pre-pay data plan now called Awey which is great for travellers at around 3US$ for 1GB and 100 minutes plus some sms's and (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) data.

When we stayed in Namibia (Windhoek) we loved going down to our holiday apartment on the coast, and we still go back whenever we are on holiday and fingers crossed will be back soon (July 2017).

Being a pilot, I traveled a lot, and I reckon I've seen more hotels and accommodation places than I ever needed to. With all that experience I've tried to set up our apartment with everything I'd like to have when I'm on holiday, but without feeling like a hotel. I really hope you like it.
