We thank you for your comments as this will help us get better. By the way, our helper’s name is Nimfa, not Nivil.
We apologise for your experience. I believe you had a short nevertheless different experience than most of our guests in your 36 hours stay. Unfortunately, you didn’t get to enjoy kayaking, snorkelling and seeing/interacting the local fishermen as it was the holy week. Jagna and most of Bohol is highly practicing Catholic and tight-knit community, safe town with friendly and helpful locals. The only day you were there, our helper was on day-off as it’s the Easter Sunday. She didn’t have enough time to brief you about the door and the bathroom (which only started leaking that week but again it’s holy week, workers were not available, sadly). Your imagination was indeed an imagination as the fence and the seawall are both very high for anyone to climb over. They are high as defence during the typhoon season from waves and water. Our house is a retreat for the family whenever we come home from the concrete jungles of Singapore, so it has our collection of things from our travels as well as some favourite things. Nevertheless, I’ve made sure Nimfa has cleaned the house, floor to ceiling, corner-to-corner.
It’s quite subjective on the location. Our location is very strategic if you are going to look past the usual touristy spots. Our place is within reach between 40 minutes to 1.5 hour to any tourist spot - Chocolate Hills, Panglao Island, Loboc River, the not-so-well-travelled but equally amazing Anda Beach, Candijay’s Can-Umantad Waterfalls, rice terraces of Alicia and Candijay, Cabagnow Cave where you can dive in the pool water and it also has the port with daily fast ferry that goes to Camiguin Island.
Again, we apologise and thank you for your constructive feedback. Always makes us better host for the airbnb community. Safe journey and all the best.
