Scott arrived late - to the time agreed in the morning, I was not able to wait for him as i had other guests to meet in another house. so I trusted them by leaving the keys. When they returned later in the evening I was on my house, they were drunk and I had to ask them to be careful. They are not supposed to party or drink in the house as drink can stain the furniture, bourbon and beer, They could have asked for glasses and sat in the conservatory not all over the beds with can everywhere. They actually asked me to leave and were rummaging around my kitchen. The heating was on and it was warm in the house.
My other guests who i have known for 4 years said they were a rough lot, so i 'don't think I was being paranoid, I was being careful.
Scott agreed to the location change as he wanted a TV for them and a place to all socialise and not 1 room as he had agreed on and paid in his booking. He did not want them sleeping together and this actually was a better option - single airbeds and a double room and a living room and conservatory. Also their own bathroom. I therefore moved them to the living room conservatory and 1 smaller double bedroom. My dog does not smell he is a Japanese Spitz and very friendly, he did not stay anyway. As we were not staying in the house over cheltenham festival, it is tight as there are 80,000 people in town and everyone is pushed for space. I allowed Scotts group to arrive early so they could drop off their bags - it was ready when it was supposed to be ready. I was kind enough to allow them to come earlier.
The air beds had a pump if they had not walked over them they might have not deflated them. This group stayed for 1 night and I normally do a minimum of 2 nights, i have not written them a review but wanted to respond to these accusations as they are wanted and i could easily have let the space to other people, even in the booking process Scott wanted to negotiate a deal the booking was also complicated wth them. I tried to fir and keep my guests happy warm and comfortable and out of the 10 bookings I managed that week only Scotts group complained but there is always one they say.
