Our lovely old house is oozing with history and has many original Chapel features, sitting within our small holding, in the centre of a picturesque rural lane on a nature reserve. This room is on the top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door.

Your large room has a standard double bed with luxury down duvet and pillows (non-down available on request). We have recently installed cottage ensuite facilities for this room. There will be a welcome tray in your bedroom for your convenience with an array of teas and coffee and biscuits on offer as well as a welcome pack, TV, comfortable sofa, hairdryer and other travel necessities. We also provide a 45 litre refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle and cutlery and crockery items so guests can simply self cater. We ask that you keep things clean and tidy up as you would at home!

We are happy to prepare the room for anything up to four family members although it's standard decor is a double. We can add fold up beds when booked for three or four. Pairs of guests wanting to add extra beds to a double room may add one for a charge of £6 to cover the additional laundry and room prep, and the use of a bed from another room. Extra beds will of course impact on the space available but it enables a family to be accommodated in one room together. It is a budget choice when booked for four of course. Please be clear on this. We have larger rooms which accommodate four easily but they are not ensuite. The sofa will be removed for larger bookings.

For a more spacious group booking; we have two additional rooms we book out, and can potentially provide air and floor beds for up to ten guests.

We have three local pubs and a grocery shop in walking distance.
Our home is unique in that it appears to be quite rural and yet is just 5-10 minutes from the M54 and Telford and the International Centre itself, as well as only a mile or so from Ironbridge, Ironbridge Gorge and the museums and world heritage sites there.

We have no over looking neighbours and the area is beautifully quiet. For most of the year you will be awoken by bird song in the mornings.

Free parking is available in a private layby further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles.

The best thing about our neighbourhood is its idyllic setting and historical value. The houses are all different and have sprung up over several centuries. It is a pretty place to be. We live on a quiet no through lane which looks out onto woodland with stunning countryside views. Our hamlet is rural and quaint with every house on our lane a hodge podge of local history spanning some 450 years.

Ty and I are a doctor and teacher enjoying the best of Shropshire life in a beautiful part of the county. We live with our children and pets; our dog Billy, and our kune kune pigs. We enjoy dog walks, live comedy and love nights out with friends. We also love having people to stay and our house is often the venue for parties and BBQs. We have a huge home and love having a houseful of guests, which is why we thought AirBnB would be a good way to go. We've done loads of travelling in the past, in the form of backpacking and volunteer work, and have been and lived pretty much all over the world so enjoy meeting people from near and far. We're very hospitable and want you to feel at ease in our home, and enjoy a comfortable, well equipped, professional stay. We aren't a hotel - don't expect that, but we are warm and welcoming with a quirky home and love meeting people from around the world... as well as our super staple business travellers who arrive shattered and need a safe place with a decent room, hot shower, brew and bed.
