Bring your family to the lake for a gorgeous holiday! Our beautiful log cabin is located on beach front at Long Island Lake with a large deck and lots of comfortable living space.
Our lakefront log cabin would be great for a family gathering, a ladies weekend or just an opportunity for you to get out of the city. You can comfortably sleep up to 10 people with lots of space for relaxing as well. We have 1200 square feet on the main floor + a loft and a walkout basement of another 1200 square feet.
There's nothing more beautiful and calming than having your morning coffee on the deck overlooking the lake.
We treasure our cabin and the beauty of it's surroundings and would love to share that beauty with families or groups of friends for their enjoyment.
A fully equipped kitchen is available to you and the cabin has all of today's modern amenities.
There is also a large barbecue as well as a fire pit for your use.
Contact us if you don't see the dates that you're interested in. As we are retired, our schedule can be somewhat flexible. Should you be the right ones for our property, we may consider renting to you even if the time is blocked on our calendar as not available.
We trust that people who are attracted by our beautiful lakefront cabin, are people who also like to take care of things so we imagine our guests will leave the unit as tidy and clean as they can.
Smoking is definitely NOT allowed inside our cabin. It is mandatory that any smoking be outside and cigarette butts are contained in a provided ashtray. We treasure the cleanliness of our property both inside and outside.
We are in 'Cabin Country', so do have neighbours during the summer and ask all of our guests be respectful of the family environment. Please no loud noise past 10pm.
We have a fire pit on the beach and campfires are allowed as long as we have no fire bans in our area.
Maximum number of guests for any rental is 10.
This is our primary residence and typically we will be there to greet you upon your arrival and insure that you know your way around. You will have the place completely to yourself during your stay.
A few years ago, my husband and I made the huge decision to leave the city life and move to our property at Long Island Lake.
Now completely retired, Larry and I enjoy our morning coffee on the deck of our new log cabin!
