Our townhouse snuggly sits between Balmain and Rozelle - peninsula suburbs surrounded by harbour waters & 15mins from CBD. Our house has a rustic charm with 1 bedroom, living-room (with TV) and a kitchen/living-room that opens to a pretty garden (great for long lunches!).
We have a long and wide couch for extra person if needed.
This is a great house for anyone wanting a well-rounded taste of Sydney. We are tucked away on a beautiful and older peninsula part of Sydney but still remain close enough to be a quick 15min bus ride from the CBD.
Standing at the end of the street you can see the harbour bridge (great for fireworks on NYE) however, Balmain is situated quite high and most streets offer a harbour view if you'd prefer something more 'full-frontal.'
The house feels like a loving and cosy home. My partner is a chef and we both love our wine so there's plenty of kitchen equipment, cookbooks and even a wine fridge. The oven is electric and is less than a year old.
We fully encourage long lunches outside in the garden with friends.
There's 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and a large, long sofa should you need an extra person. Probably more suited for a couple.
Despite not having air-con, the house remains very cool in summer.
You will have access to the entire house.
We do ask that you remain respectful of noise as we have a good relationship with our neighbours.

We won't be in the house during your stay. We may be here to drop off the keys, otherwise we'll leave them in a secret location/lock-box for you to easily access on arrival.
We are more than happy to offer lots of information and advice about the house and local area. We'd like your stay to be as comfortable as possible.
If you're travelling from the airport, the taxi fare could be around $60. If you need a cheaper route, grab a train to Town Hall and take any bus that goes along Victoria Road. Get out at Rozelle Junction. The walk is less than 10mins from the bus stop.
Please no smoking & no parties - this house is cosy and we have a good relationship with our neighbours.
Pets are fine, we sometimes look after my parents dog here so there's a dog house at the back of the garden (as well as a dog park 100m down the road).
Hello! My name is Alexa and from Sydney, Australia.
I love traveling and exploring various art galleries, little hidden gems that serve good local food and wine and getting lost then struggling with a map to find my way home again. I like old 60s and 70s rock music / taking photos / cooking and drawing. I'm clean & tidy & responsive in emails.
