A peaceful old house in the Italian hills surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and with a stunning view over the lake and the mountains of Valle D'Aosta.
Nestled amongst the green hills of the Canavese region and overlooking Viverone lake, the Casale is a farm that was built at the end of the 19th Century and rennovated according to local traditions. Tucked away from the city, in a natural enviroment of olive trees, vineyards, orchards, and rose-gardens, the Casale is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Italy. It is located on the historical Via Francigena, a route covered, in the past, by thousands of pilgrims from Canterbury to Rome and recently rediscovered ((URL HIDDEN) Walks and horseback rides of the route and in the suurranding areas can be organised.
The Casale has its own pruduction of olive oil, wine, seasonal jams and aromatic herbs, on sale for the guests. Courses of floreal decoration, gardening, pruning, ikebana and floreal painting on canvas and horseback riding upon request.
The B&B has three double rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The breakfast, with abundant selection of homemade jams and cakes, local seasonal fruits, and freshly baked bread from the wood-burning oven, is served in the salon overlooking the lake in winter, and around the swimming pool in summer. Room service and English breakfast is served upon request.
Enjoy the outside swimming pool, solarium, football pitch, library, walk and horseback rides on the Via Francigena, the lake and the woods, horse-riding classes, gardening classes (from April to September upon request). Secure parking, Internet, washing and ironing available; baby sitter upon request.
