Contemporary interiors and original features feature in this early Victorian house situated in a quiet residential street. Indisputably the best location in London for transport, King’s Cross and St Pancras International are only a five minutes walk.
Lovely old house in a conservation area, renovated in 1995. The house is on three floors with lots of stairs. This is how it is laid out:
Top Floor: There are two double bedrooms.
Ground floor: There is a spacious living room, and a small bathroom with a bath that contains two showers - one to stand up in, and one hand-held shower head for rinsing children or hairwashing.
Lower ground floor: There is an open-plan kitchen with a steel and granite island opening out to a patio, and a utility room with wc and bidet, washing machine and dryer.
My guests so far have been very flattering with their feedback - they have made the house sound super swish! But this was our family home until recently so please be aware that you may find a few chips in the paintwork. Despite these insignificant flaws the house is clean and will accommodate 4 guests with plenty of space but single travellers, people on business and couples often book to stay, as the nightly price is for up to two people for the whole property. Both double beds have comfortable mattresses, great pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Please note for people with mobility problems that there is no bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms.
You will have access to the whole house and garden.

We will be there to greet you when you arrive and to say goodbye if required, and will be on hand within minutes to help if you need it as we live 15 minutes away. Please note that we will only hand over the keys to the Airbnb guest who placed the booking.
The street is in a residential area of King's Cross so please consider your neighbours late at night. It is quiet at night but bear in mind that it is central London so you will hear sirens and other city sounds. There is a small patio for your use but the garden is currently overgrown.
No smoking indoors. No parties please.
I have lived in London for nearly thirty years and I adore it! I am into the arts, food and wine, I love to go to the theatre and reading. I have three teenage daughters and a husband - they take up a lot of my time! Over the past two years we have enjoyed staying at airbnb residences and would hope to recreate those experiences for others.
