A stone's throw away from the Festival Theatre, National Museum. Castle, Royal Mile and Grassmarket nearby. 4th floor. No lift. If you have heavy luggage be aware of this.
Built in the 1790s the tall classical tenements of the street were completed when the South Bridge was built as a link between the Old Town and the developing southern part of the city. Robbie Burns would have been striding the streets at the time and William McGonagall, the poet, lived and died on the street.
The apartment is on the 4th floor. An old turnpike stair leads the way up.
The Lounge overlooks the Dome of the Old College and if you lean out the window you can see down the street to the Firth of Forth in the distance. A bright comfortable room with a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 further guests. A fold out table can be used for dining and there is a TV with built in freeview/DVD player. Free wifi.
The Bedroom is set to the rear of the building and is nice and peaceful with a comfortable double bed. Space to hang clothes, chest of drawers and a hair dryer is supplied.
An ironing board and iron can be found in a hall cupboard.
The Kitchen has all you might need if you choose to eat in. Cooker, microwave, kettle,toaster and dishwasher. Essentials like oil, salt, pepper, coffee and tea are provided.
Bathroom. A lovely space with bath and electric shower over and large mirror. Towels, shower gel and shampoo are provided.
Guests have access to the entire apartment.

I am usually never far away if you need help with anything and always contactable by phone.
Please be respectful of other neighbours and keep noise levels down at night and early morning. Switch lights and appliances off when going out. Take high heels shoes off to protect the floor.
Bear in mind I don't charge any fees for cleaning.
