Large studio with private garden, within the grounds of a historic residence in the heart of Valpolicella, the famous landscape of Amarone vines, olive trees and cypresses

The cottage is a big studio, about 90 sqm. (ceiling 6 mt. high), with extra raised sleeping area, illuminated by 4 large windows showing the park on the south side and the valley of the vines on the west. The simple furniture reflects the host family’s style and traditions. The cottage can host up to 3 people. The kitchen is equipped with all essentials. The small bathroom has an old-style bathtub equipped with a shower.

The property lies on a hill landscape, at 350 m.a.s.l., between vines, olive trees and cypresses. It is 2 Km far from Negrar, the main centre of the valley called Valpolicella, a famous wine-growing region of Italy. Negrar is a country town very well equipped with banks, hospital, post office, supermarkets, winehouses and typical restaurants.

Sono un'artista, ho vissuto molti anni all'estero, parlo francese, inglese, tedesco e spagnolo.
Ora vivo e lavoro felicemente in campagna in questo luogo bellissimo che per tradizione familiare ha sempre accolto artisti e studiosi.
La dépendance che affitto gode ancora di questa atmosfera, si trova all'interno del parco, è adatta per persone che apprezzano le cose semplici e di qualità, ideale per artisti. E' necessario avere un mezzo proprio per raggiungerci e per spostarsi in quanto non ci sono mezzi pubblici a disposizione.

I am an artist and I lived many years abroad. Now I am happy to live and work in this beautiful country house that, by family tradition, has been receiving artists and scholars since years.
The dépendance I am renting inside the park still maintains such atmosphere. It is suitable for people who appreciate the charm of simplicity; it is ideal for artists.
The place can only be reached by car. There is no public transport in the vicinity.
