Neighborhood: the house is situated on an old little square with a big tree, typical restaurant and a fountain, no cars passing – only pedestrians. Very kind and nice neighbours in the house and around: elderly Lisboans born in the quarter, and young Portuguese intellectuals and artists who speak English. Equipment: W-LAN/ Internet working in the whole apartment; CD player; Aircondition for cooling and heating; fully equipped modern kitchen with Nespresso machine (and traditional coffee machine), gas stove and electric baking oven; blender etc; dishwasher, washing machine, freezer, iron.
we are a couple from Austria (Salzburg) living in a medieval town by the Salzach river. we are both psychologists working as management trainers (internationally/ europe-wide). we love dancing tango, we speak portuguese, spanish, english, french, italian. we both have worked in south america for years. Lisbon has been the city for our romantic side, the "saudade". We bought the apartment for calm days full of beauty, writing our thoughts and poetry, reading novels, taking endless discovery walks, spend time in museums and libraries, listening to fado with tears in our eyes - just as you can read it in "Night Train to Lisbon" (by P. Mercier), We come to Lisbon about 6 times per year, so we are quite familiar with the city, its most beautiful spots, its people, its cuture. Looking forward to hear from you and stay in our beautiful place! elisa
