Built in the 13th Century it has retained many original period features and has been grandly and luxuriously furnished throughout, combining French antiques and contemporary mod cons. That it's also baby and child friendly seems almost too good to be true!
Accommodation is for up to 10 adults and 2 children in 3 double en-suite bedrooms, a twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a family bedroom with a double bed and two singles. Children are well catered for with the provision of cots, highchairs, a baby bath, baby bouncer, baby monitor and steriliser, potty, plastic crockery, cutlery and sippy cups. Children's play area complete with range of games and home cinema system with extensive DVD library. Children's play area (swing and slide), swimming pool, boules pitch. Day care/babysitting/baby listening available on request.
Those who want to step back into the 13th Century, but not without their 21st Century gadgets can relax. Satellite TV (with English Channels), DVD/CD player with a library of DVDs/CDs, a home theatre, broadband Internet access, and an iPod docking station are all provided in the Chateau.
The chateau has lovely views over its own private swimming pool, where heating can be arranged should it be needed, at extra cost.

Walking distance of the local village that specialises in sweet wine and offers restaurant, post office, bread depot, tennis courts and tourist office. Set in the heart of the local vineyards you don't have to worry about the car for tasting the wines of the region.
Nearby Bergerac, once a medieval city is captivating. A boat trip along the river is a great excursion, or visit the organic market where truffles can be purchased (in season).
Chateau Les Tours is within a short drive of some of the most beautiful villages, vineyards and historic sites in South West France. The principal towns of Villenueve sur Lot and Agen are all within easy driving distance, whilst the smaller bastide villages nearby provide all the essentials and offer weekly markets and fêtes bursting with local produce. Particularly lovely is Issigeac's Sunday market, especially when followed by the highly acclaimed Sunday Brunch buffet at 'Chez Allain' (not cheap but well worth it), which has an enclosed terrace with a raised pond and garden area little ones enjoy. They offer kids meals on request.
Family fun and water sports can be found at one of the nearby, sandy river beaches and at the 'Magic Cauldron' eco farm, named after the pot in which the mohair of 250 angora goats is farm dyed. Little ones will love making friends with the animals which they can touch and feed including lambs and kids, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, turkeys, large angora white rabbits, highland cattle and two of the largest grubbiest pigs ever seen! Visitors can also try their hand at cheese or bread making.
The villa management company can arrange nanny services and day excursions such as half day tours of the famous Chateau Neuf du Pape Estate, spa sessions, market tours and private cookery classes.
Getting married: The chateau makes a beautiful setting and backdrop for a romantic wedding for up to 50 guests. Marry on the lawns, at the local church or village vaults and then sip champagne, enjoy a gastronmic meal and dance the night away al fresco int he chateau grounds round the evening off with youe own private fireworks display and enjoy the rest of your holiday in this beautiful setting. With plenty of accommodation nearby for additional guests, proximity to the local airport and lots of activities in the surrounding area the chateau offers an ideal venue for your special day.
