We are only too willing to advise them of daily itineraries that can encompass several of these places whether it be by car, on foot or by bicycle. For the more adventurous they can devise there own itineraries based upon our list. The choice and variety of places to visit in the area and further afield on day trips is vast and is of course entirely yours.

From Dublin, Ireland. Retired Civil Engineer, living with my wife Cathy and our three young adult children, when they are not living away from home.
Our primary interests are; cycling, hiking, skiing, travel, cooking and gardening and of course our dog Barney.
We often host dinner parties for family and/or friends, so we are well accustomed to catering for guests, often including overnight stays- we cook traditional Irish food as well as Indian, Italian, Spanish, Middle Eastern and Asian among others. We also like eating out at local or City restaurants of all cuisines.
We quite frequently travel abroad and in recent times have been to France (Skiing), Vietnam, Istanbul, Poland (Krakow & Zakopane), Slovakia, Hungary (Budapest) and Lanzarote ( Canary Islands), where we love meeting foreign people and enjoying their culture, architecture and cuisine.
We love most classical music( including modern minimalists) and jazz as well as modern popular music etc and have a vast collection of CD's and vinyl.
We like foreign cinema especially French and Nordic Noir and often visit the local specialist cinema in Dun Laoghaire (The Pavilion Theatre) where they have weekly showings. We also like BBC4 TV Foreign Series such as Borgen, The Killing, The Bridge and Spiral.
Our reading interests are varied and we have a vast array of books in our house from classics, travel, exploration to Nordic Noir such as Nesbo, Mankell and Larssen.
Our life mottos are; to live and enjoy life to the full and age is just a number
