Come and stay in our lovely traditional Portuguese townhouse while we are away. Complete with secure, private courtyard, hammock and orange tree in the middle of the old town, within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful beaches! Although we'll be staying outside Lagos, we'll be there to meet you. Welcome!
Our lovely little house, where we have been living for 5 years now, is ideally situated in a safe, quiet, car-free street in the middle of colourful, historical and vibrant Lagos. Just a few minutes walk from local restaurants, beaches and bars, you can enjoy the sun and our Portugese way of life with all amenities around the corner. Or you can just relax in the quiet private courtyard, in the middle of town but away from it all. We also have a wonderful yoga school right around the corner, with drop in classes every day.
The whole house was completely renovated in 2009. There is one bedroom within the house with double bed and en-suite shower/toilet, living room with TV, fast wireless internet, a spacious kitchen with everything you need and access to the courtyard/ garden and a second bathroom outside with toilet and shower. You´re very welcome to use everything! Should you wish, there is a second bedroom available for use with a double bed, at the back of the courtyard.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities (electric cooker, microwave, oven and large fridge, washing machine).
Our house is within walking distance from the bus and train station of Lagos, the boulevard and the marina of Lagos. There is no parking at the house but closeby - within a 5 mins walk - you’ll find both free and paid parking.
The whole house is available
Please respect our elderly Portuguese neighbours as we live in the middle of town. Please no smoking inside and no pets.

We're Gerry (Irish) and Christina (Dutch). We packed up our former lives in Amsterdam in 2009 and via Cape Town, Saba, Suriname, Madagascar and Australia ended up in the most south western corner of Europe, in Lagos, where we have been living for almost 5 years now. We still love travelling and exploring the world and have just returned again from a trip through southern Africa. There are so many places in the world we love and Portugal is one of them! It is a truly beautiful country.
We really enjoy meeting nice people, music, arts, good food and wine. We're looking forward to introducing you to sunny Lagos-
Welcome, Bem vindo!
