The village of Almancil has become an important supporting center of the two biggest holiday resorts in the area (Quinta do Lago e Vale do Lobo) among some of the best golf courts (Royal Golf Courses).

The town is located in the western border of the Ria Formosa Natural Parque inside the “Golden Triangle” of Algarve. Despite being a rather small town, it includes several historical details, a number of relevant buildings and a pleasant environment. The national street EN 125 which runs between Faro e Albufeira can take us to Almancil, located only a few minutes by car from the International airport of Faro. The highway A22 is also an option if you are looking for a way to get near Almancil.

A estrada nacional EN 125 entre Faro e Albufeira leva-nos a Almancil, localizado a poucos minutos de carro do Aeroporto Internacional de Faro. A auto estrada A22 também passa muitíssimo perto de Almancil.
