My 1-br apartment is in Siamese Gioia. It's a central and quiet condo favored by Japanese expats and their families. Stacked with wifi, TV, cable, Blu-Ray, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, saltwater pool, café, kids' room & a rooftop garden & grill. There's plenty of shopping (EmQuartier and Emporium malls) and restaurants (Thai, Korean, Japanese, and killer pizza at Peppina). Siamese Gioia won two prestigious property awards. Quiet place, but near the fun. Weekly and monthly discounts apply!
I've recently installed cable and a new TV, and I've added extra soft bedding for a more luxurious sleep (in April). I've also just bought a new iron, ironing board, and hair dryer (March '15).
Unlike so many downtown Bangkok places, this apartment is quiet and luxurious without breaking the bank. Phrom Phong is where Japanese ex-pats congregate. They demand quality and efficiency, both of which you'll get here, along with fantastic Japanese restaurants and markets. But Sukhumvit soi (side-street) 31 has more than just that - there's the city's best pizza shop (Bella Napoli), a hugely applauded Roman trattoria (Appia restuarant), and there's Villa Market, which carries an excellent supply of both Thai and western food. Add to that a huge choice of Thai food, a Starbucks and a convenient 7-11 right outside the door, and you've got a fantastic place to crash!
Not available for your dates? Get in touch. I can usually find a similar, great place for your trip.
You'll have access to the tuk-tuk, which will take you directly to the Phrom Phong BTS station. Someone will drive you there; you don't have to drive yourself :) There's also a parking space, a saltwater pool with a shallow area for children, a gym with new equipment, a children's play room, a cafe on the ground floor, and a rooftop zen garden with a grill.

You have the place entirely to yourself. I live two stops away on the skytrain (BTS), so I'm nearby and available by phone should you run into any issues.
-Take off your shoes at the door, Thai style.
-Keep air conditioning no lower than 24.
-Turn off air conditioning when you leave for the day
-This is a nice condo full of families, so I insist that you behave respectfully. No public displays of affection!
-Have fun and enjoy!
-Any questions? Just ask! I respond quickly.
No smoking in the apartment. The neighbors here are quiet and respectful - you should be, too. Please keep the aircon no less than 24 degrees. Any lower is unnecessary, wasteful and expensive. Strictly no smoking indoors.
You must close the curtain between the bedroom and the living room if you're only going to have 1 A/C on. Otherwise, turn on both air conditioners.
- Take your shoes off indoors
- Keep the aircon no less than 23 degrees. Any less is terrifically expensive and inefficient.
- Turn off electricity and aircon every time you leave the apartment.
- No public displays of affection. This is a cultural taboo.
