The tent was damaged in a freak wind storm and is being replaced with a cabin. The cabin won’t be ready until hopefully July 1st. Please check back with us at that time.

. We consider our guests part of the family so they may join us wherever we are. The entire ranch is yours to enjoy! We are big on holidays here, so there is always something a little extra going on at those times. The summer holidays feature a cookout or a picnic. Thanksgiving thru Christmas are extra special with special home style activities on the ranch. We have a big Thanksgiving dinner every year, (weather permitting we have it outdoors) and for Christmas Eve there is an Italian dinner with a bonfire after with hot drinks and dessert to watch the skies for Santa Claus.

ThunderHorse Glamping #3 is the newest of the Glamping tents, and quite large. It features a queen size bed, breakfast seating area, small dresser, thick shag carpeting, heating in the winter and fans in the summer. Well lit, WiFi and wonderful rustic decor. It is a tent though and so keep camping in mind with all that goes with it if you plan on booking this one! The months of December, January, February and even sometimes March can be quite cold. The heater takes the edge off but doesn’t warm like inside the cabin. The rest of the year makes for great outdoor sleeping!

Please note we DO NOT allow any children under the age of 12! NO exceptions! We do not have the recommended safety features in place as suggested by Safe Kid Worldwide. This is an organization AirBnB affiliates its self with.

Since this is a working ranch, the nights can get a little noisy and you will hear the Guardians bark from time to time as they protect their livestock from predators! This is their job and they take it seriously!

We are considered "out in the country", but we do have neighbors close by. We do respect their right to privacy and space.

The view from our homey front porch is beautiful and it is so relaxing to sit out there and enjoy the sunrises and sunsets! Perfect place to get some reading done. Every now and then the quail and roadrunners will entertain you with their antics.
The night skies are exceptional, so if you are stargazer, you will find our nights to be nothing short of “heavenly”!

I am a surgical technologist with 40+ Years of experience. My husband Ray,is retired from Boeing and runs our ranch on a daily basis. We love to entertain, along with cooking, horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing in our own backyard, and life in general.

The Cowboy (Ray) is on the ranch during your stay. He is available to answer questions about the area, and assist in anything guests may need. We love getting to know our guests, but are also respectful of their privacy.

We are here to offer you activities revolving around everyday small ranch life! If there is something in particular you would like to learn we will definitely try to accommodate you!

Holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, have special meanings for us, and you are welcome to be a part of all the activities.

Please always message us thru the AirBnB App. We don’t carry cellphones with us all of the time and our land line does not take messages. We check the AirBnB App every few hours and respond to it in a timely manner. If you use our personal email or text us chances are we won’t see it for awhile.
