Beautiful city cottage in a charming, quiet neighbourhood with easy access to the entire city. Many of the main cultural attractions are only a short walk including museums, the Phoenix park and the Guinness Storehouse. The area has great cafes and restaurants and is far enough from the noisy, touristy Temple Bar area to be authentic, quiet and relaxing. Easy tram and bus access to other parts of the city, including direct tram to 3Arena. Please send message with any questions!
The house is a traditional terraced cottage dating from 1890 and recently renovated. It is light and bright with double height ceilings with sky lights.
The are many lovely features including wood burning stove fire and period and modern furniture, The second bedroom is an attic room.
There is a small back yard/garden, perfect for a sunny breakfast al fresco.
The cottage and neighbourhood are a great example of Victorian architecture and life in Dublin city from a by-gone era.
Guests will have the full use of the house including the downstairs double bedroom, (two guests) the upstairs attic room with a single bed (if there is a third guest) and the back yard.

Either myself or my partner Wellington will meet guests on arrival to welcome them and to provide a tour of the house and provide advice on the best things to do and visit in Dublin and Ireland.
The hosts will not be present in the house while guests are staying but will be available by phone/email if needed.
Past guests love that the cottage is near to many cultural attractions and right on the edge of the beautiful Phoneix Park. It is a perfect location for those who enjoy walking in the city and being close to nature by the Phoneix Park and the River Liffey.
The neighbourhood is quiet and friendly - guest get to experience a real Dublin community. The area is a pleasant 20 minute walk along the river from the Temple Bar area. It is very easy to explore the city from this location though I'd advise visitors who are interested in the "drinking culture" of the Temple Bar area, to book accommodation in that part of the city instead of our lovely, quiet neighbourhood!
This is an authentic and friendly Dublin community and neighbourhood and we ask guests to respect the house and our neighbours.
Alcohol abuse, drug taking, loud music and parties strictly not permitted.
